The receptionist is the rudest person Ive ever had to deal with at a doctors office. She gave me the run around about "did you call your insurance to see if you can come here." Ive seen the weak responses from the doctors office representative regarding how insurance questions are being answered. It takes an entire 80 seconds for an efficient employee to log into your insurances website and find out if a particular patients plan is accepted in your location. Especially in the case that my insurance doesnt require pcp assignment, and I told her that, she still wanted to give me attitude. I work with insurance all day and IT IS YOUR JOB AS A PROVIDER, to verify the benefits of a patients insurance. As it is my job as a provider when I am at work and being paid to do so. Its not as complicated as they want to make it out to be, sure you may come across a few oddball plans on any given insurance that you dont take, but doctors sign up to be providers for insurances and as a whole, they are either providers for that insurance or not. Not only was she incredibly rude and lecturing me about insurances over the phone, but I witnessed her do the same to another gentleman who was trying to schedule an appointment while I was waiting to be seen.on a good day shes inefficient and ignorant of insurance policies, on a bad day shes lazy and doesnt want to be bothered. Either way Ill be going elsewhere.

I have been going to this office for over 30 years and have never had a problem with the office staff or CNAs. Now it seems as though all the good people in the office have left with the exception of Anna. Anna is a sweetheart. But Sylvia, Natalie, Kay are all gone. Diana the new girl is downright rude and unfriendly. I had a brief conversation with Dr. Morrisons new nurse today and was not impressed with her either. She was unfriendly and sarcastic. Years ago before I came to this office, I was going to Dr. Bearisons office and I left that office because of all the rudeness from the office staff there. The office staff can make or break a Dr. Office. I love Dr. Morrison. He is the best doctor that I have had. I just with I didnt have to put up with the rude and unfriendly office staff that are there now.

I called the brandon location today and just had the worst customer service experience ever. I spoke to Diana (would not give last name) to see if they take my insurance provider and was told she doesnt know and is unable to check. Unlike every other location that can check she said I needed to call my insurance provider to see if I can go to their location. I tried to ask a question to clarify and she wouldnt even let me speak. I would not recommend going to this location. Especially if you are a walk in then there is no way they can see you beacuse they dont even know what providers they can take. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Ask for an appointment for back and hip pain, Was seen by Billy M Knowles PA-C at Apollo Beach office. Knowles recommend MRI and Hip x-ray, said he would contact me with results. He did not, a technician call but did not appear to be aware of the reason for my visit. I sent a followup email to Knowles, response was another call from technician. Billy Knowles did demonstrate a concern for me as a patient or listen to my description of pain. My worse experience in Florida

The receptionist is beyond rude and really needs to learn professionalism. Her attitude is condescending. I was told to call Dr. Modi if medicine didnt work. I called 3 days straight & went up to the office 2 times and I still couldnt get in contact with her! So I had to make another appointment. It seemed like she purposely didnt respond so I could make another appointment (more money for her)! Will not return again!

I have been seeing Dr. Acevedo for about 6 months now and I am highly impressed! She is patient and actually takes the time to listen to my complaints/concerns. Im happy to have finally found a competent compassionate primary care doctor. I also love her medical assistant Katie, she does a great job! The front staff is OK. I havent really experienced anything bad or good with them.

The staff is friendly but the wait is way too long. 40 minutes and counting wait time for a routine physical is waaaay too long and unacceptable. I will be changing practices next time.

Ive been going to this office for several years. Never had a bad experience there. I drive from Tampa every time I need to go to Dr. This place on a 1 - 10 is a 12.
