My family has been using Sharon Family Physicians (now associated with University Hospitals) for many years with Dr. Dulle. We have no complaints about the doctors or services provided. However, we have recently learned that our last two visits were not submitted to our insurance company. Instead, Sharon Family Physicians billed us, even though we never received a paper bill. Since we did not pay a bill that we never received, the two bills (nearly a year apart) were turned over to a collection agency. When we contacted the office, they stated that they did attempt to call us to inform us that we owed money for the visits, but we did not answer. I think it was unreasonable of them to submit the claims to collection without reaching us first. Now we will have to ask them to resubmit to our insurance company and deal with the credit rating agencies. As I said, we have had no problems with the doctors or nurses at this office. It is clear, however, that the administrators lack organization or reason.

I need a new family doctor because of mine moving too far away for me to still see him, so I try this company. After 2 phone calls and them sending me a packet to fill out, I show up for my rescheduled appt, at 7:30 this morning, for them to tell me "we dont take your insurance". What? Why didnt they tell me that the 2 other times on the phone? The receptionist says "we have the wrong number for you". Well unfortunately thats the reason for this review. Someone there had already called me after I had to reschedule from the first date. So how did they used to have the right number? I walked out without saying anything knowing I was gonna right a review. After filling out this Google review Im going to there own website, and Facebook as well. I hope no one else has this experience with this company.

Ive had nothing but good experiences. I never post reviews, but I saw the negative ones posted and figured I would add some balance. The staff is always friendly. Everything is convenient. If you want to contact your physician, you can leave a message through the app and I always get a quick response and my issue is resolved. If I have an emergency situation and my doctor is full, there is always someone else in there that is able to see me. You can easily settle your balance/bill with the receptionist when you check in for your appointment. My Dr. Actually spend time in the room with my addressing every concern that I have.

This used to be an outstanding place my family has been coming here for over 20 years as have I. Ever since University Hospitals has taken over sheron family physician has been going downhill the staff seems not as personable and it seems everytime I try to make an appointment it takes months to get in. I spoke to Molly on the phone recently to set up an appointment she did not understand by question and then began to raise her voice at me in a badgering manner which prompted this review. Im highly considering leaving this practice all together. I will be glad to update this post with my recommendations.

My family has been a patient of Dr. Hoynes for at least the past 15 years. He is SUPER as are the other doctors. The head nurse at the office is also great as are some of the other staff. However, it has been very disheartening to observe the practice lose what made it so unique for so long---a caring staff. Due to whatever reason, expansion likely, the office staff has grown and as a result has become very impersonal and incompassionate.
