I have two reviews, the second being the most important. My personal experience with two of the doctors was very good. Once you get past the fact that there is no privacy for any of your procedures simply because of the arrangement in the rooms. You literally walk through a room where they are performing a procedure to get to your room where they are going to perform yours. Im and adult, so I dont really care as long as the dentists are good to me, which they were. (They kept mentioning HIPAA privacy laws -- which makes sense to me, but I really dont see much privacy happening when everyone can see what theyre doing to you.) The IMPORTANT part of this is when I took my 7 year-old for her first experience there. Yes, I was in the room because thats how it needs to be -- especially for a first time at an office. The cleaning was fine and the x-rays were also good. It came down to the actual dentist who works with kids. She walked in bypassed me to go straight to my daughter and started to poke around in her mouth and started talking about what she saw. No introduction? Seriously? After a few seconds, I stopped her and forced an introduction to both me and my daughter. I did set up the next appointment but really didnt like how the doctor worked on my daughter. After that, I called to cancel the appointment in order to get a second opinion somewhere else because she only had a small amount of decay on a baby tooth that is going to fall out anyway. I still got a reminder call and then called back again to say I had missed the appointment "with nitrous". I called back and asked if the cancellation had indeed been registered in the system -- it had. Lack of effective communication within the office. As an adult, Im fine with what happened to me personally. In regards to billing, I was told ahead of time by friends to keep every receipt for payment and every "Care Plan" in case strange things popped up on the bills, which had happened to them. I didnt have any issues but heeded their warnings. Overall, I share the opinion that this is just a clinic that our insurance company happens to cover. Its the only one! They focus on getting lots of patients through. For a doctor NOT to introduce themselves to a patient or parent is not only a serious breach of simple social etiquette, but a major issue in regards to a starting a positive doctor/patient relationship. I guess if youve been in a place long enough and youve gotten away with doing it, then its acceptable. Ironically, Ill go back, My experience was fine and they take my insurance. I even sent a thank you note to the doctor for being so gentle with me. My kids, however, will never step inside those walls again. Theyre the important piece in this review.

I went to this office and was referred for specialty work. One referral was to an in network Greenberg specialist and the Dentist at this office told me if they can not see me quickly I need to go somewhere with in a few weeks and told me to try another Dental office in Daytona. The Greenberg specialist was booked months in advance so I went with the second place this Dentist referred me to. Had a great experience and had the work performed. After submitting the claim to my insurance I found out that my insurance only reimburses for out of network if the in network dentist referred me. The insurance is ready and willing to pay me, but because Linda the office manager and the staff there at Greenberg refuse to admit that the dentist gave me the name of an out of network dentist the insurance company is refusing. When I called and spoke to Linda the office manager after probing she told me that they are not supposed to reffer patients out of network so they did not document anything and will never admit it because they would get in trouble with the insurance company per their contract. She flat out told me that the dentist would never legally have to remeber the conversation and of course they did not document it and besides it is my fault as I should have known better. She further added on citing the fact that I had only been to their office once as why they would not help me to their detriment. Funny thing is I have kids and my entire family has been going there since we moved to Deland. I cant help we had just moved to Deland shortly before this and in that short amount of time I was only 1 of 5 visits my family had already made to their office. Horrible customer service, flat out liars openly admitted it to me on the phone as she knows I cant prove what she said to me. Well I was not alone when the Dentist gave me the referral, I am currently waiting for the 800 number customer greenberg service agent to look into the matter and if they do not resolve this then my lawyer will be in contact soon. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!! I feel like I was scammed, conned and they seemed to laugh at me for thinking they would tell the truth. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!

Where do I start ? Staff calls me the day before to make sure I am going to be there and be there on time ! So I am on time (early) and still have to wait longer than one would want to in the very uncomfortable chairs watching the same channel on TV I saw the last time I was there ! I am there at least 5 times a year for cleanings etc. The oral surgeon is a savage ! He left a root tip in my gum that took 1 year to work its way out ! I went back the very next day after extraction to ask him what is this sharp thing in my socket ? He told me it was part of my jaw and could file it down but would take longer to heal ! $50, thanks ! For 120 seconds of his time. Well I am no oral surgeon but this guy, you would think, would check to see if all the roots were present after extraction of the tooth ! NOT THE CASE ! After that, the tooth beside the one the savage oral surgeon took out became loose and I lost that one too ! "What did he say" " Here comes the big wiggle" I hade all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out with less pain or trouble ! when I was 17, I am 45 now, Go Figure ! This place is also running windows XP, which those of us that know is very irresponsible as all of our personal files are at risk ! XP was a solid platform but is no longer supported ! They just do not get it ! ? So, in summary my personal info as yours can be compromised do to the fact their IT folks are not on top of their game ! Man I should have been a doctor. This is the most in-efficient place I have ever been ! Proceed with caution!
