I took my son who has aspergers to see Dr. Budd referred by insurance. He had Zero tolerance and was far from understanding. i explained to him the school had given him glasses that where too strong he was getting sick, headaches ect so we took him to a different dr got the prescription lowered and was going to work it up slowly. My son had a hard time with some of the does 1 or 2 look better questions and in seconds we were told agitatedly to wait in waiting room. where he called previous dr and just re prescribed him the same prescription. Now taking him to a new dr.. i come to find out he did not change the prescription from a +3 -125. no seeing a specialist but just another optometrist my sons prescription is actually a +8 -345, +8 -400. So he hasnt been able to see.. So no as a mother I can not refer this dr to any child with special needs or circumstances.

The receptionist or whoever is answering the phone is horrible. I was trying to set up an appointment and she was telling me i have to set up an appointment with the optometrist. Um yeah..... genius thats what Im trying to do. Then she proceeds to just repeat the same thing over and over without helping set up the appointment with the optometrist. Hire a new receptionist or give her some communication skills training.

Staff should be replaced. Neither training would fix these jerks. Long wait for appointments.
