Company refuses to give me back my $100 refundable deposit. ( MUST READ ) I unfortunately had a horrible experience with Juvederm in my lips. I got the filler done in Atlanta, GA on a vacation for the fourth of July. I called the Spa and Laser Center on July 13th to get the filler removed because I was left with lumps and bumps on my top lip that would not go down. I have had filler before so I know what it was supposed to look like when healed and it definitely was a bad job done by that nurse in Atlanta. Spa and Laser center informed me they typically do not dissolve lip fillers NOT done by them, but that they would make an exception for me. They said that I had to pay $75 over the phone to set my appointment and it would serve as a deposit. They also said, "if you decide not to go through with the procedure OR the Doctor can not fix the problem then you will get your deposit back". I asked her how much it would be to dissolve the filler. She put me on hold to go get a quote. After a few minutes, she returned and said, "the Doctor is not in right now, so I asked a nurse and she said it should be around $100." I paid the deposit and set the appointment. Over the next few days, my lips started to look slightly better and I learned that I could conceal the lumps with makeup. I really like the look of full lips so I decided to call Spa and Laser center, cancel the appointment and just wait for my lips to get better over time. I called and canceled and that same day I received the deposit back on my card. Fast forward one month later, I still didnt like the look of my lips. So I called spa and laser center back to make another appointment. They gave me the same speech about not usually fixing other Doctors work but they would again, make an exception. The set the appointment but oddly enough, they charged me $100 for the deposit instead of $75 like a month ago. I let it go and figured they increased their deposit fee. The day of the appointment, everything was fine at first. I filled out a brief form about my cosmetic procedure history, took a few before pictures, and then explained to the nurse what I was there for as we waited for the Doctor. The Doctor came in and immediately saw the lumps and said she could dissolve it and it would sting a little bit. She saw me for literally two minutes. I said okay. The doctor left the room and the nurse came back in to tell me the price. She said it would be $300 to dissolve the top lip. WHAT?! That is not only ridiculous but that is 3x what I was quoted. I understand a quote is just an estimate but that is way off. I told the nurse I would not go through with the procedure. she said okay and showed me to the front where I could check out. At the front desk, a woman proceeds to tell me that I would not be able to get my deposit back. Excuse me? Why? She said it was because the Doctor saw me and spoke to me so that is a $75 charge. She said I would only get $25 back. I was extremely angry and confused. I did not want to cause a scene so I just held my tongue. She told me to hold on while she processed my $25 refund. I waited. She never handed me a receipt. She said it was all done and sent me on my way. The next day, I checked my bank and the $25 refund was never processed. So I am officially out of $100 for a procedure I DID NOT have done. I called the Spa and Laser center and began to explain how it is not fair that I did not receive my full $100 back let alone the $25 that was supposed to be processed. The woman said she remembers me and started telling me that the filler dissolving quote she gave me was just an estimate and was not set in stone. I told her that I am not upset about that, I just want my $100 deposit back. She then said, "I can not help you with that but I will be sure to make sure that ( someone whos name begins with a C ) will call you back about the deposit when she returns from her lunch break.". Surprise! I never got a call back. I will be there in person first thing Monday morning to let them know I am serious and they cant just steal $100. Horrible.

VERY VERY POOR SERVICE DISHONEST DOCTOR MARY PENTEL DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY .................. CHARGED $1700 TO MESS UP MY FACE AND NOW I HAVE TO SPEND MORE TO FIX HER MISTAKES............ first of all charged me for 2 syringe when i had prepaid for only one , i have been complaining about this ever since they charged me and on top of that i have been dealing with the reaction of the product which is still standing i have even emailed them earlier and made many attempts of request of either fixing my problem or refunding me as i feel i have been cheated out of my money, they cant just treat me with 1 syringe of voluma and charge me for 2 this is bad business practice this is fraud. Dr mary pentel is a liar these people have no work ethics or morals they have cheated me out of my money and not providing the service as promised and also over charged me for and extra syringe. its a shame to see a doctor will stoop this low to make a quick buck!.

I am so happy with my subtle, natural-looking results! I am a very conservative person who wanted to restore volume to my face but felt nervous to use injectable fillers. A couple of close friends of mine recommended Dr. Pentel to me, based on their own good experiences. I was relieved to see that she had a very cautious approach. Dr. Pentel listened to my concerns and explained exactly where she would place the filler. To reassure me, she allowed me to do a little bit over the course of a couple visits, until I achieved the results I wanted. I look refreshed and happy - not fake at all. Several of my friends and family members, who have no idea that I might use fillers, have also commented that I look more rested. My only regret is that I had not made an appointment sooner.

I have had a very positive experience at the Spa & Laser center. I have been getting facials with Lauren every two weeks for the past two years, and she is amazing - she has done wonders for my skin, and has helped me manage breakouts without having to resort to taking prescriptions. Every time I go to the Spa I am treated like a member of their family, and the facility is always calm and comforting and zen-like. I recommend it to everyone I know and cannot say enough great things about coming here. Lauren is extremely talented and professional and I was lucky to have found her!

I got a spray tan for the first time to start the summer early before a beach trip. Lauren Perilli did a great job and made me feel very comfortable with the process. The "tan" looked very natural and even and my husband loved it! The center itself is beautiful and has great equipment. Highly recommend this as a great way to start the summer and/or avoid having to spend too much time working on a tan.
