RUN AWAY! Six years ago I started going to Highalnds Dental. I had significant problems, and I knew it would take a while to resolve them all. Instead of any improvements, I am left with shattered teeth, pain and the inability to bite down and chew anything tougher than hamburger. I was treated by more than five different doctors who obviously didnt communicate with each other. One visit was for an extraction. After more than THREE hours, I was sent to an oral surgeon for emergency care - at MY expense! The doctor who couldnt complete the extraction promised to make things right, but had left the practice by the time I had healed from the surgery. After more visits and no real progress, I had run out of sick days, and eventually lost my job due to the number of absences for appointments and the days afterwards when I was using pain killers. I understand that complications exist, but it was their final blow that put me over the edge. Nearly five and half years later, I get a call from an attorney to collect $670 in unpaid charges!!! I had to prepay my portion before every visit, there are no unpaid charges, but they are now trying to get more money out of me after ruining my health and costing me my job

I met Dr. Fernandez and she is so wonderful! She is very thoughtful and attentive when listening to my dental problems. She has a very light touch and it was painless! This was the best dental experience I ever had and I look forward to having her as my dentist. Her staff are very friendly and very helpful in helping me to understand my dental insurance. They have interest free financing which made my experience even more wonderful and Dr. Fernandez has great office hours, even some Saturdays so I dont have to take off from work. I found my experience to be very pleasant, and I will refer all my friends and family to Dr. Fernandez. The office is very clean and tidy, no funny smells like other offices, and the music is very calming. The staff called in my dental prescription which was a time saver and her hygienist is very professional and speaks Spanish. You wont be sorry, the team is exceptional and very supportive. This clinic is the friendliest, most helpful place I have been to. Dr. Fernandez is so kind and gentle and made this experience a good one and I am the worlds biggest chicken about going to the dentist!!!! I wanted the dental work done for years but because of my fear, just couldnt bring myself to get it done. Then I decided it was necessary to be healthy. I was retiring from work and wanted to be a healthy senior citizen. Dr. Fernandez and the assistants knew I was afraid. She explained every procedure and checked on me many times as the work was done. If you are apprehensive at all about going to the dentist, please check out Dr.Fernandez and the Highland Dental Clinic. I was not disappointed and appreciate the care that I received.

Went in for a cleaning for the $89 special. After x-ays and a check-up, they told me that my teeth were great! Then they tried to sell me a 4 tooth crown for $3,500 over a tiny chip in ONE tooth. Then another person tells me that I have gum disease in the back after I was just told all of my teeth were fine. The ladies up front told me that if I do not get the $3,500 crown that my teeth will fall out in a matter of months. So, in a 30 minute period my teeth went from great to about to fall out........ and they never even gave me my cleaning. Im going to get a second opinion and then report these people to the medical board. BEWARE! These people will try to rip you off and talk you into procedures that you do not even need!

Dr. Fernandez is the best dentist I have ever had. She is so gentle, kind, and thorough. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other dentists but with Dr. Fernandez she just puts me at ease. I had a Root Canal treated tooth for years and I could never afford to get the crown but with Dr. Fernandez I was able to afford the crown and it was great quality. She gave me a shot and I didn’t even feel it. The front office staff helped me get approved for interest free financial plan. Her office staff gave me an all-around pleasant experience. The office is extremely clean and organized. I am immensely happy with the service I got. I will continue sending my friends and family to Dr. Fernandez office!

Dr. Fernandez deserves five stars! She is a very sweet caring lady and makes me feel well when I walked in for an appointment. I am usually terrified of going into the dentist but I felt comfortable with Dr. Fernandez! Her staff on the other hand does not! More specifically a gentlemen by the name of Nelson, whom works with making sure the insurance is up to date. I was so offended with his tone and language that I even contemplated on going to a different dentist! I hope they get an upgrade on the Front desk staff as well, they will lose good paying customers because of employees such as Nelson.

Ive been going to Dr. Fernandez for the last 5 years and I want to say that she is the most caring dentist that I have ever seen. She recently finished a tooth implant and it took a while, but it was worth it. Dr, Fernandez went out of her way to personally contact me on more than a few occasions just to see how I felt after having a few different procedures that I had done to prepare me for the implant. It was worth it, thank you again.

Her staff is just as good, they are very nice and the whole atmosphere in the office has been pleasurable. 5 stars for my first visit. Professional and friendly staff and examination. I really appreciate the process - first the exam and development of the plan, the written estimate of the plan and the consideration of cost and time when making the appointments. There was no pressure to make a decision for an immediate procedure. Dr and staff are bilingual in at least English and Spanish.
