☆☆☆ATTENTION PEOPLE READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE AND REGRET GOING.☆☆☆ My problem with this place you should be able to take responsibility and we as customer who bring our fur babies here to this place should be able to trust the Veterinarian and tech. I took my cat here September 2, 2017 at 10am. Two months before this visit Dr Nix and Josh(HE WAS KIND AND GREAT WITH MY BABY) took good care of my cat, Dr Nix diagnosed my cat with asthma/allergies. Dr gave her a shot and a few day later she was back as her regular self. This day in particular I brought her to see Dr Lissette R. Esteban because my cats breathing issue had returned. So the technician Jessica Bedard just had a bad attitude from the start and the other tech Kaylie (I think thats her name) looked scared and look like she didnt want to spend her Saturday working. Dr Esteban right of the bat started by "I dont like what I see" she also gave me 3 diagnosis which it could be cancer, heart murmur or just asthma. She decide that the best thing to do was to give her a shot of depo and some antibiotics just incase if she had an infection going on and she also wrote me a prescription. She also constantly repeated to me "now I have to warned you and prepare you for the worst" meaning she might not make it? She repeated the same thing about 4-6 times just in different ways to the point that she made me tear up. Dr also gave me a card of an emergency clinic just incase if things got worst during labor day weekend she said to take her there. Her breathing was bad before she was given her shots, after leaving this place she was breathing out of her mouth none stop and fast.(I also have 2 videos as proof on my phone which are time stamped before shots and after.)The techs who gave my cat the shot Jessica she kept on injecting her because the other tech couldnt hold my cat down properly. I took my cat home and she continued to breath out her mouth fast, 3 hours after her appointment she passed away. If Dr Esteban knew that she wasnt going to make it she should of at least let us spend the last few hours with her in peace. She should of just said hey dont waste your money on giving her shorts spend it on getting her cremated if it was to happen, they end up charging me. That same day I had to spend to get her cremated. I could tell that my cat was in pain after giving her those injections. This place is not trust worthy.

Let me tell you something. I have never experienced such horrible treatment than I did from this vet today. We found my cat laying under our tv completely lethargic. Not moving, harsh breathing. So we called Maitland vet, who we have been going to for over 10 years, and begged and pleaded with them to see him and they refused and said they were too busy and that they close at 1 so they cant. We still begged this lady and she kept refusing. So we called the nearest vet "Westmonte Animal Clinic" and they told us to bring him in immediately. So we did, a vet who has never even seen my cat before. The vet saw him immediately and came up with a plan to help him. He is now on in surgery, extremely close to not making it. I will never go to Maitland vet again, and neither will my entire family. Im going to school to be a vet and I would NEVER even think of turning a sick animal away, I dont care how booked I am or how long I have to stay. That is absolutely horrible and gut wrenching. I do not recommend them at all. They dont even deserve the 1 star.

Staff is awful and unprofessional. The lack of respect is present all the time. I had a last minute travel outside the country and I left my dog in that place since I couldnt find anyone else to take care of him. The day I came back from my trip I called to see if they could wait for me 10 minutes before they close the place to pickup my dog, the guy doing the closing that day didnt want to wait so I had to pickup my dog on the next day (Had to pay an extra day). When I picked up my dog the next day he had a big scratch on his nose and when I asked them about it, they told me he did that to himself with a towel... They never returned the toy of my , every time I called they kept telling me that they were looking for it. Second time my dog was there he came out with fleas... I dont understand how its possible Dr. Jordan let their staff do whatever they want with their clients. I think I gave them too many opportunities by taking my dog to that place in different occasions, but Im not going back ever again.

I found my cat very lethargic when I woke. I have been w/ Maitland Vet for over 8 years. I called to see if they would take him in because I knew something was not right. The person who answered the phone told me they could not see him because they were booked. I pleaded with her telling her he is so sick he needs help. Again she told me no that they could not accommodate me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. A vet is suppose to help animals. They had no compassion or sympathy for what we were dealing with. I called the nearest Vet "Westmonte Animal Clinic" the told me to bring him in immediately. I will NEVER recommend this vet even if they were the last vet standing.... Pamela Phillips

arrived at 0945 for my 1000 appointment for annual rabies shots...told they were running behind due to an emergency....fine....1030 put into treatment room....about 1040 informed receptionist of an accident in the room (one of my dogs peed) and they needed more paper towels...she said she would get right on it(she did not)....at 1100 with no further word or explanation for my continued wait, I went out to the receptionist and informed her I was leaving....one hour and no other explanation or anything....my time is worth something too....now booked backed at VCA where the treatment may be a little more expensive...but it is dependable....very unprofessional.

I have been taking my dog to Maitland Vet Clinic for 2 years now and am very pleased with the service. My dog is elderly and somewhat skittish and the staff there does a wonderful job keeping her calm in the way they handle her. Dr. Jordan is competent and caring and takes good care of my pooch. Barbara, the groomer, does a wonderful job with her as well. Its in an easy to find location and Im able to get appointments fairly quickly. They are open on Saturdays, which I appreciate as well.

Poor service...Dr Jordan did blood work on my dog without a reason why... Did not tell me the cost. Then she charged me for a rabies tag I already have from another doctor... She never resolved the issue I came in for. My bill totaled $300 for random procedures... Now wants to charge me an additional $40 to bring him back in to re evaluate a rash which she should have addressed in the first place.
