I went into this doctor to get a specific medication that he said on the phone he would fill. He told me because I was not jacked up on a bunch of pain medication that he would not fill my ADHD medication. He actually told me I would be better off buying meth on the street it would be cheaper than my insurance and faster. What kind of doctor tells you to buy meth instead of prescribing what you need. I have been on my ADHD medication for 15 years a low dose at that all I needed was a new prescription my doctor left town. And I get told to buy meth its easier. This doctor was rude did not even talk to me about the illness that brought me in to begin with just told me to go buy drugs off the street nice Dr. So much for having him as my new primary doctor a******.

Was referred by another patient to Dr. Lura - BEST referral EVER! Yes, he tells it like it is and I personally appreciate that. For me his "bedside" manner is PERFECT. He is caring, well educated and up to date on current Health Care issues. His Staff is caring, personable, accommodating re: scheduling I wont be going anywhere else. When you find the best Team - its such a pleasure !

My family and I have been his patient for 5+ years and I give him a 5 star rating! He is not a pill pusher...He is a great listener and an excellent, intelligent and caring physician. He is very easy to discuss any problem with. Definitely a 5 star physician...best of the best.

Never seem to answer after hour calls. This is NOT good for a family doctor. How can you operate a practice and when you leave early on Fridays and NOT have your phones forwarded to an answering service. It just rings and rings.

I was referred to him by someone who eventually decided to not be seen him by Dr. Lura either. His bed side manners are not great and seems to be just after the money than the well being of his patients.

Been amazing....he listened...and when I did go back he saw how I was hurting.... he literally sat there and blew up phones to to get help... its refreshing to see someone who cares...
