Dr. Shenai and his office was outstanding! I havent been to the eye doctor in about 10 years and they were so professional and warm. The office is very comfortable and nice, I almost fell asleep in one of the comfy chairs after my dialtion lol! Dr. Shenai was awesome and explained everything to me in a way I could understand and showed me images of my eyes (which I thought looked super cool lol). BTW, I have perfect vision! :) I will definitely be making an appointment with him for my kids very soon for a check up! Thanks doc!! Definitely recommend these guys 100%, and I never write reviews about ANYONE EVER!

Recently took my mother and my son for the first time. The staff was very prompt in getting us registered (so we could see the Dr. On time), friendly and courteous. I was really impressed with the New Equipment ( that can see the nerves and retina of your eye). I felt like the testing was very thorough. The staff and Drs were patient with my 7 year old (he dont stay still), they explain to him what they were going to do before starting in order for him to be comfortable. Another PLUS in my book. Dr. Mathews is doing a collection for a Sprinkle Park to be added at Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson.

No one looks forward to ANY doctor appointment, but I always feel better when I leave Dr. Mathews office because I know a problem has been solved. I have been seeing him for years and will continue to do so. He takes his time, answers all your questions, and makes sure you understand the condition of your eyes. I was happy to discover that with a new machine they are using I no longer need to have my eyes chemically dilated! His selection of glasses is the best I have seen. Thank you!

Twenty years ago my wife and I were patience of Dr. Matthews. We move up north and moved back into the area last year. Of course we looked him up and went back to see him for our check up. We found him to be very knowledgable, friendly and just plain caring. He took the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions. If you live in the area and need eye care this is the place to go! The office is open, inviting and clean! His staff is friendly, knowledgable and caring.

After being clear that the brand of contacts I wore worked for me and I would prefer to stay with them, this doctor decided to write a prescription for a brand that were uncomfortable and frankly far more expensive than they needed to be. He would not allow me to change to the brand I wanted and told me that if I wanted a different brand, I would have to come back for another appointment and would have to pay all over again.

We have seen Dr. Mathews for our complete routine eye exams for many years. He is very thorough explaining the results of all your tests, very polite, pleasant, and no long waits for your appointment, always on time! The office staff and assistants are also very pleasant and most helpful! I would highly recommend Dr. Mathews for all your eye care.
