I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE SHADY PPL TO ANYONE! I TOOK MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER UP THERE TO GET HER MEDICAID GLASSES AND AFTER THE EXAM WAS COMPLETED THEY GAVE ME SOME SPEIL ABOUT HOW MEDICAID WOULDNT PAY FOR HER LENSES AND THAT I HAD TO COME OUT OF POCKET WITH $55 TO PAY FOR GLASSES THAT SHOULDVE BEEN FREE! I CALLED MEDICAID TO FIND OUT IF THIS INFORMATION WAS TRUE AND THEY SAID NO ITS NOT CORRECT AND THAT IT SOUNDED AS THOUGH THE OPTICAL PLACE HAD GIVEN MY DAUGHTER UPGRADED LENSES. I CALLED SUN HILL OPTICAL AGAIN AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT WAS ILLEGAL FOR THEM TO GIVE CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13 PLASTIC LENSES BECAUSE THEY TEND TO SHATTER. WELL THIS IS JUST BS AND SHADY, BAD BUSINESS ALL AROUND BECAUSE WHY ON EARTH WOULD EVERYONE ELSE ISSUE KIDS PLASTIC LENSES AND THIS ON E CO,MPANY NOT DO IT. I ASKED THEM WHY THEY DID THIS AND THEI FIONALY PIPED UP AND SAID TYHEIR OWNERS SAID THAT KIDS GET POLYCARBONATE GLASSES NO MATTER WHAT, WHICH IN TURN FORCES PPL TO HAVE TO COME OUT OF POCKET FOR THE GLASSES THAT OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE BEEN FREE THROUGH MEDICAID! DO NOT GO TO SUN HILL OPTICAL, THEY WILL LEAD YOU ON, PUT YOU THROUGH THEIR EXAM AND THEN MAKE YOU PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE!

I couldnt be more pleased with the fast excellent service I received. My glasses within a week, so I ordered a pair of sunglasses (prescription) and received them in 2 weeks. Kathy checked every way to make sure I was getting the best deal with insurance and discounts. THEN...I had back surgery before my sunglasses were ready and Kathy brought them to me because I was unable to drive to the store!!! Thank you Kathy. I believe that rates a 5 star in itself. I forgot to mention the Eye Doc. Friendly, personable and took great time with me and also told me things I did not know about eyes and aging! Thanks again!

I sat on my frames and they needed adjusting. My frames are Titanium & can take a lot of abuse and Ive used them for my last 2 lens changes. I went to the place that changed the lenses 2 yrs ago & they said frames couldnt be adjusted. Went to Sun Hill & Kathy adjusted them for me. Ill be going back to Sun Hill for my next eye exam & a new pair of titanium frames.
