We are the proud owners of a beautiful female cocker spaniel. She is now 5 months old. We took her for her first visit to the Animal Hospital Of Lake Mary only 12 hours after we got her, she was 3 months old. This vet was to give her a free physical, if there were any problems the cost would go back to the breeder. We were greeted with kindness, the staff was friendly & accommodating. I mentioned to the "Doctor" that our puppy was going out to urinate too many times. I said she might have a bladder infection coming on. The vet made light of it & said puppies go often, she would out grow that. The next time I had her in for shots, I again mentioned she seems to smell like urine, & goes very frequently. Again the vet made light of my concern. He said it is too hard to get a urine sample from a dog he thought I was being a bit overly concerned - after all he is the professional. Our puppy was spayed, we took her in one week later for her follow up visit. We were seen by a different veterinarian. Our puppy out of what they said was just nerves, began to vomit while in the patient room. The Vet said she had a fever, to watch her & call if she gets any worse. It got a great deal worse! I took her back to see the vet, they wanted to give her a long look – so they kept her over night. The veterinarian called us a few hours later & told us our puppy had a swollen colon which was full of gas & they’d know more in the morning. She also said they’d put a rush on the blood work & would have a solid answer by 1 P.M. the next day (Thursday). We received a phone call Thursday from a "nurse" saying to come and get our puppy. They told me she has a bladder infection & that I could take her home. So I went anxiously to get our puppy & ask the vet a few questions. I did not see the vet, was given 6 medications & very little education about what to expect or even hope for. They charged us twice as much as originally quoted, it was all so confusing & unsettling! The nurse brought our puppy out from the back filthy along with a cone around her head which was also filthy. It was sad & shocking to see her that way! All I wanted to do was hold her & take her home. I could go into details but you do not want to read this for days. The next morning she began to vomit again. I called the vets office... I got disconnected, they were so unorganized. I wanted her blood work results, remember the blood work they put a rush on? The results I was promised to have by Thursday? I called again & they said they would not have them in until later that day (Friday). I will tell you I was friendly as I spoke with them, & could not get a real answer. I then began to call friends to find a good vet. We were able to get our puppy in to see a super wonderful veterinarian in Sanford, amazing people! He found the problem and gave us one pill a day for our puppy. She had a severe kidney infection!!! They charged us a reasonable amount for the work. The doctor even allowed us in the treatment area to give our puppy a sense of security. I would never take another animal to the Animal Hospital Of Lake Mary. I give the counter staff there an A for personality, but the veterinarians need to take more time to understand their patients & how to treat animals. Pet owners should always get the courtesy of seeing the vet after any treatment on their pet. After her spayed we saw a staff member in the waiting room to release her, quick!!!! After she was so sick & kept over night, again a staff member gave me her medications & quickly handed a filthy puppy to me. Our puppy had this infection for months & they would not listen. All they wanted to do was to place her in the Vibe Machine & sell us things we didn’t need. I’d avoid a bad experience and look elsewhere. There are great veterinarians out there… so get a referral before you go.

I had an emergency on a Saturday, as my German Shepherd pup decided to jump out of the tub during her bath and hurt her leg when I made the mistake to turn my back to grab her leash. Preparing for a possible broken or sprained foot and a large, emergency vet bill, I quickly rinsed and dried her off and called Integrative Animal Hospital of Central Florida right away. Despite them being booked and closing in less than an hour, as it was a Saturday, the doctor and staff there invited us to come in, and worked us in around their other patients, even though we werent established patients there, and have never even been there before. Feeling super grateful, I left straightaway for the vet. For Seminole and Volusia county residents, their clinic is very easy and quick to get to as its just a short drive from the I-4 Seminole Town Center exit. After arriving, I noticed that the clinic was very clean, well-kept, and spacious, with comfortable chairs in the waiting room, and all of the staff there were super accommodating and kind; Dimetra, working behind the front desk, even offered me water and coffee, which I politely declined. After a noticeably short wait, and numerous kind greetings from both customers and staff, my pup and I saw Ms. Melissa and Dr. David Vilallonga, both of whom were excellent with my pup and put her at ease during her appointment. Ms. Melissa kept my pup still and as relaxed as possible, with the doctor examined her, and answered any and all questions I thought of. Luckily, all seemed well, so the doctor gave me the option of taking home some inflammatory pills for her, and Ms. Melissa got us all checked out to head home, and reminded me to look over the folder of information she gave me on my new pup and a variety of service plans, insurance info, and other information. She also let me know to expect a follow-up call on Monday. The $53 bill was definitely worth knowing that my pup was okay, and now knowing an awesome vet that we will definitely not hesitate to use again in the future, especially when it comes to getting my pup spayed, as they offer new, less-invasive spay surgery to lessen pain and healing time. Overall, if you need a vet, I definitely recommend checking this clinic out; the people and doctors who work here seem to have a natural talent and desire to help animals, and really take their time with each patient. They offer both traditional and some alternative medicine and titer tests. Also, I heard one of their customers remarking on how her dog loves boarding there, so thats another potential great service of this clinic. Thank you to IAHCF staff for your excellent service, kindness, and care! Sincerely, _Harmony and Carly

I’ve been bringing my dog there for a few years and recently decided to switch vets recently due reasons to long to outline in this review. The purpose of this review is to rate their boarding service. Although I’ve recently switched vets a couple of months ago, we decided to bring board our dog for a few days since we’ve had an established relationship with them and we only used the new vet once for her annual shots. We thought by bringing her to Lake Mary Animal Hospital we would be in good hands because they knew our dog? The staff is always nice and helpful however my complaint during this board visit was two things: 1. My dog is prone to UTI which should be well documented in her charts considering they’ve treated her for it several times in the past; however despite this, when our dog was returned I noticed she squatted several times when I took her out and when she had an accident I noticed blood in her urine. I called the vet asking if they noticed while taking her out if she squatted frequently? They said everything was fine while she was there, no frequent squatting and no accidents. I’m a little disappointed because of my experience with my dog having UTI, I know it just doesn’t show up one day and blood doesn’t appear in the first day of the UTI. She was normal when we dropped her off last Thurs. and I believe while there she may have been forced to hold for longer than normal periods of time causing the UTI to occur. We left distilled water for her and apple cider vinegar to use in her food while there. I’m hoping those instructions were followed and I get that it isn’t a cure all however it seems every time we leave her there for boarding her UTI returns. I shrugged it off the last couple of times thinking maybe it was coincidence however this is the 3rd time which leads me to believe she is crated too long and forced to hold for longer periods. 2. My other issue is when I checked in we asked for Trifectix to be given to her. Because her heart-worm test was done recently at the new vet, I gave the tech the new vet information for her to call and retrieve my dog’s recent shots and test results. When I return to pick her up, the same tech asks me for the name and number of the new vet again because she didn’t call them four days prior and my dog wasn’t given the flea and heart-worm meds while being boarded with other animals. Unfortunately, we’ve decided to cut all ties with this vet due to our most recent experience coupled with prior issues my husband noticed and I shrugged off before thinking he was being too critical; however I now realize this isn’t the best place for our pet care needs.
