Dr. Wayne is the best, we have been going to her for years. This is not a fancy practice, it is an older building and bare bones, but Mike at the front desk and Dr. Wayne really care about animals. Today I took in a kitten that a co-worker had found in the middle of 434 and Dr. Wayne gave her a once over free of charge, that was unexpected and very kind. Years ago when we had to put one of our dogs down after a very short but severe illness Dr. Wayne waived the euthanasia fee as we had spent quite a bit on testing and boarding. I do not say this so people take their animals here expecting to receive free services, we have been going to Dr. Wayne for over 10 years and these are examples of her kindness and empathy. That is the kind of vet practice I really appreciate! Thank you Dr. Wayne (and Mike)!

My puppy broke his leg after falling off the couch, I took it to a nearby vet where they charged me a ridiculous amount just for X-rays and had to wait hours just for that and told me he just needed a cast, all of that wouldve cost me close to $5,000 (I had to pay $500 just for the X-rays there unfortunately), I decided to take my puppy from there and immediately go to Murphys all the way from Orlando. The staff loved my puppy, diagnosed my puppy correctly (he needed a plate instead of a cast) performed the surgery almost immediately and took care of him during rehab for about two months, including baths, food, toys and toiletry. All of this for under $1,000! As college student, I really appreciate this and have been going to Murphys ever since.

My mom brought her puppy there to get fixed. They told mom the dogs liver was premature and they couldnt do the surgery - on 3 separate occasions - after blood work and an office visit fee each time. They told her they would bring in a board-certified surgeon to do the surgery - more $$$$. But then they noticed the dog had an enlarged heart so she would need a $400 echocardiogram before the surgery. Mom took her dog to a new vet and what do you know - she is perfectly healthy. To top it off, office staff was rude when mom asked for her dogs records. So glad she is not going there anymore!

Very helpful and good location! Thanks so much Murphy Vet Clinic! My dog had a surprise loose tooth this morning. They fit us in no problem when my primary vet couldnt and handled the situation quickly and superbly. Kind staff, incredibly reasonable pricing. They seemed pretty busy when I got there so I was really glad we were able to make the appointment. Now my little doggie is doing so well! Im actually considering switching vets because theyre so close to home and they were really good people.

I really like Murphys Vet clinic in Sanford. My two dogs have been going to this vet for the past 5 years. The staff seem to always check for more affordable options if available and I believe that if you get something done with them, you do not have to pay the appointment fee (ex. we payed for a fecal test at $25 dollars and did not have to pay for the $30 appointment fee).
