I called today about 5 oclock and was told they closed today at 1, but Lori still answered the phone. She asked what was wrong and when I told her our 17.5 year old cat was very sick, she told me Dr Freyman was going into the clinic to open up for a man picking up his dog tonight at 6:30 and that I could bring her in! She said I shouldnt wait until the morning. When I arrived, there was another man waiting to see him as well! Dr Freyman spent 35-40 minutes with me and my cat while administering fluids and examining her. He genuinely cared about her well-being! Weve been going to him for many years and have always had a good experience. Tonight though, topped them all. Our little kitty might very well be in her last few days, but he did everything he could to see if she can get past these next couple and live a little longer. Very kind man. Highly recommend him!

We had been using longwood vet for a couple years and they seemed ok, but when our dog had a major problem everything went downhill, 1st they charged us $200 to effectively torture our dog and tell us there was nothing they could do she needed a specialist. Upon visiting the specialist the next day we were told $150 to confirm what the vet said (initial exam) then $1,200 to x-ray and biopsy the growth, followed by $5,000 - $6,000 to operate and remove it. We are not out of the woods yet but Dr. Freyman saw us right away and helped our dog by releasing pressure and giving us medication to treat her. For the 1st time in 2 months our little girl is feeling better. Words can not express our gratitude. Hopefully she has a full recovery but just the hope we got seeing her feel better for the 1st time in months was well worth the visit. THANK YOU!!!

On Saturday I called our usual vet for an appointment to our 16 year old cat. They said we take take walk-ins until 2pm. I got there and they turned me away cause they were too busy. @#$@ I was already upset about the cat, so this didnt help. On a whim, I looked up other vets and called Sanford Veterinary Hospital. The doctor answered the phone and I explained my situation of having to euthanize our beloved friend who had glaucoma and was running into walls. He said his price which was 55$ less than my usual vet! Almost half (including group creamation), I was shocked!!! I drove straight there and he was waiting true to his word! He handled the situation with professionalism and total empathy! I have found myself a new vet!!!! Thank you Sanford Veterinary Hospital!!!

Usually I do not write reviews but this time I have to do so because I was very impressed with Dr. Freyman. After couple of weeks of tests, treatments and hospitalization in an animal clinic in Clermont veterinarian still had not a clue what was wrong with my cat which was getting worse and worse every day. Concerned about my pet I decided to get a second opinion. I got Dr. Freyman phone number from my coworker whos cat was successfully cured by Doctor. I am so glad I went to Sanford. After seeing cats blood work results and x-rays Doctor immediately diagnosed my pet. Two days later my old cat was again full of energy and healthy. Now when I am writing this review he is happily purring next to me. Thank you Doctor. I highly recommend this place.

Dr Freyman was so there. For my 14 Dalamation Geoffrey.till the end Dec 2016 Geoffrey went over to the Rainbow Bridge. He so caring And his knowledge of a Vet is amazing. This is a Dr you want for your pet I now have new dog Bentley a 12 month an Dr Freyman is back in our family. The staff is so wonderful also. They care those smiles an kind words are real...Bentley will be in the best hands for rest of his dog years. Thank you Dr Freyman for giving my Geoffrey Xtra year with us he made 14 years an thats long dog life for a Dalmatian they usually live 9 to 10 . Happy New Year 2017 Dr Freyman .And staff. I took my dog coo coo in today, he had 2 ingrown nails that were puncturing his paws.. A month before I took him to pet hospital 434 & they suggested I get them trimmed while hes under sedation for neutering, which at the time I could not afford their price ($400+) the doctor here at sanford pet hospital was so very understanding of my dog & my dogs comfort level. He was able to clip the ingrown nails with no problem. The receptionist is just as warm & inviting. Very clean facility & they wont charge an arm & a leg.. they truly care about the well being of the animal. Im so glad I was able to find them. Will see them again soon!

Really great experience with Dr Alex. He is very upfront and honest. doesnt sell you anything your baby doesnt need. My biggest pet peeve as a pet parent is my dog being taken away for 30-45 mins to get blood work or shots... he does it all in the room in front of you. all routine things. nothing to hide. i love it. have moved to Chicago now and i wish i can find the same here. they are really in the business to HELP animals.. thank you for all the good work you do.

The clinic stayed open late to help with our ferret who was suffering from cancer. Bandit lived for nine years and had gotten to the point his back legs were no longer able to support him. He was suffering and need relief. Other vets did not want to see him or wanted an extremely expensive fee. This was the only office that offered to help end his suffering. He even allowed us time to say goodbye. Excellent doctor and very compassionate. Love his staff too.

Dr. Freymon is a vet that is hard to come by. Always lower in prices than anyone else and truly dedicates his life to saving animals. Hes not there for money, hes there for the well being of your pet. I highly recommend him. Most vets are there to make money off your love for your furry little family member. He is there to help.

The best and most honest vet. I ever met! He truly cares about the animals! I also love Lori she is just as caring! I found a newborn kitten and could not afford the expensive formula. She helped me purchase the formula until I got paid!!
