UPDATE JAN 2017- DR. VESGA IS NO LONGER PRACTICING HERE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT OFFICE! VESGA WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS CONSTANTLY DYSFUNCTIONAL PLACE! Dr. Renato Vesga is very compassion and understanding, I feel like I am finally in good hands with him! He really takes the time to listen to his patients concerns and help them with a treatment plan that will help improve their quality of life. I was in major distress and unbearable pain before I met him, and never felt like I found a truly compassion doctor who cared about me and my deteriorated life since this chronic pain has taken over my entire life. He makes me feel hopeful for a more functional life and future with more independence for self -care and pain relief. We live at least 30min away, and coming to him is worth the drive because I feel he really does have my best interest at heart and will help me feel better. He is much kinder, more knowledgeable, and more compassionate than past pain management doctors. His nurse Jessica is sweet, and a helpful girl, she is a great part of his team. The waiting room smells NASTY old-basement-musty & is a bit too warm, but the leather lobby chairs are comfy. The office staff are constantly unable to help me with billing or other insurance issues, scheduling, & a mountain of other issues... they are always too busy for the patient, constantly, to finish anything, or return phone calls. Their irresponsibility in this department makes me nervous for entrusting my healthcare here. Dr. Vesga is an amazingly compassionate doctor, and the only thing keeping me here. They severely need to overhaul their quality of patient care by the rest of the office. Nothing is ever done correctly, and it causes me a great deal of stress & anxiety with my complicated healthcare. If Vesga were to move to a different office or facility, I would follow him. I entrust him with my healthcare, but do not trust the rest of the office staff & how it is run. There are roaches on the floor. Like I said, I cannot stand the office facility and everything else besides the actual doctor, he is one of my favorite MDs to take care of me.

If it were not for Beth I would be looking for another office. I dont know who Jessica thinks she is but she constantly interferes with my doctor and construes everything you say like you are a junkie. Jessica never calls you back she says if you dont hear from me then I dont have an answer for you. Some customer service. This Jessica does not state the truth on messages being passed over to her and I know its a lie. Jessica has messed up on way too much to be working in an atmosphere that people who are in debilitating pain. This review will be going on to health grades and would tell anyone else to think more than twice before going to this clinic clinic due to Jessica,s unprofessional work ethic. If your interested in this type of field to work in, make sure you dont go to the school that Jessica has attended. The medical field should not be this desperate in hiring all medical clinics are like this now. DONT GO HERE

After going to other places one for two years and one for three, It is refreshing to have a doctor who knows my condition, works with me to try different meds, and listens to how I feel. Dr Diaz and his assistant Chris do that, they take time. I am a person at Genesis when I get there Beth never fails to ask me how I am, about my children, to help me with insurance issues, when I hear the horror stories in my cancer support group that others go through I feel fortunate that when I go to my appointments Beth makes me comfortable no matter how busy she is , Chris always makes me smile, and Jessica when not busy will take time to explain things. I have been going here for 6 months and I know I will never have to change doctors again. My insurance doesnt cover Genesis but I choose to go there rather than the places that take my insurance because I want a doctor that cares and Dr. Diaz does.

Front staff often unpleasant to deal with. No insurance accepted . Often wait time is several hours. And the ac unit has never been efficient enough to cool the area.while you are waiting for hours to be seen by a doctor you are sweating your behind off. Its terribly uncomfortable. Currently Ive been waiting for 2hrs and 3 mins... still several patients ahead of me. If you are even $5 short on your payment you WILL NOT BE SEEN. I have been treated at this clinic monthly for 5 years or so now and originally I felt I was receiving good medical care. These days Im not so sure. The back office staff are quite the opposite. They are efficient friendly and helpful. Im hoping this clinic stops changing its management around and begins to provide quality patient care once again

Patient of Dr. Vesga at Genesis and after going to some really horrendous places I am thoroughly satisfied with Genesis. I especially like how well the front desk runs, Beth is amazing, no matter how busy she always makes time to talk with me and makes me feel comfortable. I am scheduled for double hip replacements and Dr Vesga has kept up with every step of my situation, explains everything to me and from the very beginning has been very thorough. Jessica has been a gem too, she got me quick pre-auths from insurance company. They are not overbooked and I have always been seen at my appointment time.

Dr. Vesga is ethical, professional, experienced, compassionate, knowledgeable, and overall a fantastic Doctor. He gave me a treatment plan that has helped improve my overall quality of life. I am forever thankful for his hard work and dedication. His Medical assistant Jessica is always friendly and a hard worker as well as the entire staff. One day the Dr disappeared, so they sent us to Dr. Mubagh or Mutagh, the one that was arrested for killing three of his patients. I waited there for 6 hours and still did not get my script because he didnt like me I guess. Anyway, I found a new legitimate pain clinic called Florida pain medicine, go there if you want a legitimate pain clinic.

Dr. Vesga is a wonderful doctor and all of the staff at Genesis Medical Clinic are amazing. They truly care about their patients and do whatever they can to help you when in need. I am very grateful to them for always taking such good care of me and always trying to find the best treatment for me!

I love that they dont overbook their appointments so you are able to be seen by the doctor in a reasonable amount of time. And the doctor seems to truly care about your health unlike those who just write prescriptions and send you on your way.

This Doctor and office acts like its a drug deal they ask for cash dont run your insurance and violate all privacy for HIPPA laws! They sent home with 3 other peoples Medical Records . They should be shut down!!!
