The experience was outstanding. They are busy and productive folks that clearly try to satisfy and use technology to promote minimal wait and efficiency of your visit. I had some progressive computer glasses made that I found I could not use even though the focus was spot on. The issue for me was that the focus on the screen did not cover a line by a significant margin on either side. They explained that this is normal to get the range needed. They quickly and cheerfully had the lenses redone with no further charge to be a fixed focal length. My computer work is once again a joy. The exam was tied with the best I ever had - thorough and very competent. Thank you Aker Eye.

Im a new patient of Aker Eye Vision. I could not get a appointment with my regular eye care provider for over 3 weeks. I got lucky and Aker Eye Vision was able to get me in within 2 days! I needed new glasses and have a pre existing condition. Short and sweet, I now have my new glasses! The staff was outstanding and helpful. I must also say that Dr. Harbove is simply awesome! I learned more in 2 visits than Ive received with 5 years of questions with my previous provider! The original appointment made with that other provider, cancelled! I have a new eye care home!!! He has taken the best care of both of us seeing to our vision problems, correcting our issues and talking about all our needs and extra activities. as has been the case for every visit/exam, ever since Dr. Aker opened his office: EXCELLENT service. reception staff all friendly and helpful. they helped me with the insurance and Medicare. eye exam personnel friendly and very competent. got my choice of Dr Aker or Dr Harbove. they are the best. friendly helpful personnel selecting my new glasses. happy to have Dr Aker right here in titusville. I would travel quite a distance to be seen in his office, even if the office was farther away. never any problem having my glasses "adjusted" for free.

Dr. Aker has been taking care of my eyes for many years and I wouldnt change Drs for anything. He doesnt come into the examination room with the pretense of leaving in 5 minutes, he answers every question in detail. And just as importantly, hes active in our community and takes pride in the Downtown area. His Assistant, Michelle, also takes tremendous efforts in her pre-exam techniques to make you aware and comfortable with the whole process. I am farsighted (+6.0/+6.50), have astigmatism, and I wear contacts. Dr. Aker and his team were able to put me in a pair of soft toric lenses that allows me to see 20/20. No reading glasses for small print or the computer, either (which at 48 yrs of age is a first for me). Every one in his office is extremely professional and put me at ease right away. If you live anywhere near Titusville, or Northern Brevard County, you owe it to your vision to see Dr. Aker and his staff.

Great experience. Friendly and efficient staff at the desk, relaxing and inviting facility. The nurse staff as well as Dr. Aker were all very pleasant and helpful. Along with wait time, the procedure of getting my eyes checked for a renewed prescription was about an hour. The only down side as with any in demand doctor is that you have to schedule several weeks in advance. But if you have the time to wait for a quality experience, its very worth it.

After experiencing pressure behind my eyes and seeing floaters I called and got an appointment to see Dr. Harbove the same day. Dr. Harbove is very professional and thorough. She explains everything in details that I can understand and answers all my questions. Super thorough eye exam and appointment time was punctual! Dr. Aker took time to explain the results of the exam and also answered many questions I had concerning macular degeneration which runs in my family, but, thus far, I have no evidence of having. He also fielded several questions I had about vitamins and supplements to improve eye health. I will definitely return to Dr. Aker on a regular basis!

Went to see Dr. Aker on a Tuesday afternoon after seeing flashes of light and floaters in my left eye over the weekend. He diagnosed a retina tear that required immediate laser surgery to repair. He got me an appointment the following day with a surgeon at the Central Florida Retina Specialists. That was successful and all is well. Thank you Dr. Aker and your staff. I am indebted forever!

Having just moved to the area I needed a new eye doctor. I was recommended to Dr Aker and was not disappointed. The practice is easy to get to and find. Their offices are in a very cool building and the equipment is very modern. Process for signing in took 15 mins for a new patient and the visit was done in 45 minutes. Follow up calls and emails topped it off. Very good experience.
