I as just wondering why in a time of recession is poor customer service still rampant??? There are plenty of qualified people out of work that would gladly replace people who fail to provide adequate customer service. Take for example my situation last week. I entered the medical pavilion at 950 First Street South in Winter Haven to take care of business upstairs. When I came down the elevator I went into the lobby so that my 2 year old (recently potty trained) daughter could use the restroom. All of which (the mens, womens, and family) were locked. I walked into Jay Medical Center (Dr. Diass office) and asked the receptionist how could I obtain a key so that my daughter could use the restroom. To which she replied they had already locked it for the evening because they were getting ready to go home. This was at 4:45pm and they still had a lady sitting in their waiting room. To which I responded "Could you please ask someone to unlock it? My daughter is only two and needs to use the restroom." She turned and told the office manager (who was either having a meeting or just chatting with three other women sitting around) I wanted to take my child to restroom. The office manager looked right at me and told me "No, we have locked it for the day." I am by this time aggravated with the situation and responded "Maam where do you suggest I allow my two year old to pee so that she doesnt do it in her car seat?" She told me there was a 7-11 across the street. I was astounded. Not only is it illegal to have a facility of that size with out a public restroom available during office hours, but where has human decency went? To deny a child a public potty because your staff has already cleaned the restrooms and you are just too lazy to check behind us after we leave (which would have still been before 5 oclock) is just ludicrous. I say fire the receptionist and office manager and replace them with people who arent counting down the minutes until 5 oclock so that they can leave. There would be more than one hundred over qualified people waiting in line for their position who would be more than happy to their job. What do you think?

After waiting over a month for my appointment and waiting an hour in the exam room I was informed that my doctor was running late and would not be able to see me that day. I was told that the office needed to close at 5:00 pm & since my doctor was running late my appointment would need to be rescheduled. This was my first & LAST experience with this facility. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
