I am a mom to a child with special needs, one issue with my daughter was sensory issues in her mouth with her teeth and gums. With this being said, nothing that we did, even with the assistance of an OT, was able to help my daughter with healthy dental hygeine. Unfortunately, my daughter at the sweet age of 2, had to have dental surgery. We are military, and had 2 different types of insurance. One wanting the other to pay, both fighting over the cost while my daughter was in need of care. Dr. Turner graciously offered every sort of assistance that he could, reccommending everything that he could, and even going above the call of duty to write a letter to the Insurance Company, to assist us with them. He compelled them to come to terms with each other, which resulted in a happy medium with both insurance companies. My daughter, now scheduled for surgery ran a fever on the day of the procedure, the appointment had to be cancelled. The next available appointment would have been with another dentist, however, we were not having it, and stood firm until Dr. Jason Turner could do the procedure himself. Dr. Turner, as well as his staff made my husband and I feel so comfortable through-out the entire process. While in surgery, we were briefed constantly on how she was doing, and when it was all over, I believe he could see the concern in my husband and my eyes, which he then sat to chat with us about any and everything that we may have had a question on. My daughter had a quick recovery without any complications. Now my precious angel two years later, is not afraid to go to the dentist, she actually looks forward to seeing Dr. Turner, the staff and the prize machine!!!: ). She is 4 now, and when we drive down 278, she knows and points to the street we should turn to get to "her dentist". I am grateful for the expertise, kindness, and very personal and individual concern that this facility gave our family during this trying time. Happy smiles to all, WE LOVE TURNER PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY!!!

"Daddy, I had fun at the new dentist!"...words I never thought Id hear. We just finished our first visit to Turner Pediatric Dentistry. They were so helpful and patient with my five year-old son that he actually enjoyed himself...amazing! We had filled out our forms online and arrived 15 minutes early, so I thought wed be in for a little wait...our previous dentist averaged an hour wait, no matter when you arrived. My son checked out the indoor play house, but elected to try the video games. We didnt even get the game started before we were called back...in less than a minute!!! They really took their time explaining each piece of equipment and even letting him try out most of it himself(the safe stuff). Our hygienist and Dr. Turner were both wonderful, explaining things on my sons level and on mine as well. The decor was "Welcome to the Zoo" with great murals and very engaging artwork. They have a great outdoor playground and 3 hole mini-golf course that are open in the warmer months. My son actually cant wait to go back to see Dr. Turner so we can play outside after our appointment. My wife was thoroughly impressed with their presentation to her Kindergarten class, and suggested that we give them a try. Then we saw them at our schools fall festival, and knew we had to try them. We are so glad we did. We have an appointment for his little brother to go see Dr. Turner next week. After hearing his brothers endorsement, he cant wait to "go play at the dentist".

The office staff was very condescending when I wrote on the form that I wanted to be present with my child and that she was not to be papoosed without my permission. They actually passed around my form and rolled their eyes when they read it. I was sitting in the lobby and they would read it and then look at me to see if I was some crazy mom. It was very unprofessional. I am my childs advocate. She is too small to verbalize her needs as a toddler so I have to be there for her. Then when they told us what would have to be done Dr. Turners nurse practioner said my daughter would have to be hospitalized to have the work done and that I didnt have the option to do it in office. My sister is a hygenist for an adult practice and she had already examined my daughters teeth so I knew what needed to be done. She needed one larger filling and 4 small ones. No baby root canal, no caps, nothing. I feel the drs office was more interested in their bottom line than the right care. I chose not to use this dentist. If you want a great dentist use Martin Krieger in Marietta. If you use Dr. Turner research what he tells you before you commit to have unnecessary work done.

I chose Dr. Turners practice primarily for its location. Although I had read some reviews, I had no personal recommendation. Our first visit was very pleasant...professional & friendly staff, great bed-side manner, etc... My oldest would need 2 fillings, so I knew that would be the real test. Only at that time did I relay any portion of the difficulties we had experienced with our previous dentist. Dr. Turner explained some options (of which my insurance would not cover). When the time came, he said he definitely would Not need any extra measures with my youngest and only possibly with my oldest. Not too long after they took her back, Dr. Turner came to report that he did not need anything extra and explained that he liked to leave the topical medication on long enough to really take care of any pain issue from the injection. My daughter emerged...after 2 fillings.....with a lopsided smile on her face. Her first comment in the car was, "Mama, I dont ever want to go back to our old dentist. I like this one! He didnt even give me a shot!!" Enough said!

We love Dr. Turner, we love the staff, we love the office, and we appreciate all the little touches they add to make the experience positive. Its really a pleasure to take my 8-year-old son to the dentist. My son has been seeing Dr. Turner for about five years now. He is so comfortable when visiting this dentist that he will go back with the nurse by himself; he doesnt need me to come with him. He actually enjoys and looks forward to the appointments. Even the tooth extraction was enjoyable for my son. The staff does a great job of making the kids feel comfortable and welcome, and everyone there really knows how to talk to kids. They know how to talk to parents, too. I am always a little bit surprised that the cost of the care there is so reasonable, especially compared to practices which are not even close to this awesome. I really cant say enough good things about Dr. Turner and his team. Dont bother bringing your kids anywhere else. This is the place to be.

My 13 month old daughter has had 2 appointments at this office. They are so child oriented and have everything possible to make a visit to the dentist pain free, fun, and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and know all kinds of strategies to help small children remain calm and cooperative. The front office has a play set, games, and books for children to entertain themselves while they wait (which is never lengthy). My daughter loves crawling around and looking at all the different animals on the murals. The staff and the doctor are both patient and considerate and know ALL the answers to your questions. I have been impressed both times we have visited and I would recommend anyone with young children to utilize this office for your dentistry needs.
