Over the past 4 years, I have seen 3 different doctors at North Atlanta Primary Care in Alpharetta. One time I needed to see a doctor and the doctor I had been seeing wasnt available and I was scheduled with Dr. Satishkumar Ganjam, that was truly a blessing. Dr. Ganjam took time to listen to me, his exam was thorough, his information was clear, and took time to answer my questions. He showed excellent bedside manner. I have several health issues and Im a 2 time breast cancer survivor, so its extremely important to me that I have a doctor that is compassionate, very thorough, and can advise me professionally according to my health issues. I also give Dr. Ganjam 5 stars for not rushing his patients in and out like a revolving door and for not talking down to you, or acting like you are a bother. Unfortunately, I did experience that with one of the doctors at this location, talking down to me and that doctor also advised me I had to many questions. Im an educated woman with a bachelors degree and carried a 3.7 GPA and have worked in the professional field for over 30 years, so that domineer of talking down to me, didnt settle well with me at all. Again, it has been a blessing to have Dr. Ganjam as my primary care doctor. I have been seeing him for about a year and I will not change, hes an excellent doctor and extremely knowledgeable. I, also would like to commend his nurse/assistant Fatima. Fatima is very pleasant and professional. She is thorough with her questions, always reviews your medicines with you, to make sure nothing has changed, and goes over your vitals with you. I must also say, she gives an excellent shot, you dont feel a thing and that gets 5 stars. Fatima is an asset to the nursing staff at North Atlanta Primary Care, Alpharetta office. Overall, this is a good office, the front desk is very pleasant and they know you by name, and make you feel welcomed. Pamela Allison-Lane 12-9-16

Worst practice in Atlanta. Stay away! Its the Wal-Mart of doctors offices, and youre treated like it. I made the mistake of receiving routine care from this office, and was ALWAYS made to wait at least an hour to two hours past my appointment time. In addition, they forced additional tests and diagnostics that I didnt feel was warranted or necessary since I was having no health problems, and my visits were always to just have prescriptions refilled (they apparently require appointments every 3 months to fill allergy and asthma medication). As if that werent bad enough, I needed asthma medication refilled recently, and they refused to refill it until I came in for an appointment. As I was out of town, I wasnt able to make an appointment until the following week. They called in a prescription for me, but would only call in 30 days, which my insurance does not cover (must be a 90 day prescription). When I called to explain the situation to them, and see if they could call in a 90 day supply for me since I was coming in the following week, I was told that "no, because then you could just cancel your appointment. pay for it out of pocket". Not only was the "nurse" that returned my call the RUDEST person that Ive ever spoken to, she had no basis except that I could cancel my appointment for not filling my prescription in a way that would allow me insurance coverage. I wouldnt trust them to care for my dog, let alone me. Not to mention, I wont be talked to like that. Needless to say, Ive taken my business to a much better, much more reputable doctor in the Atlanta office. Cant stress it enough, STAY AWAY!

I was a patient at NAPC for a few years and every aspect of my experience has been grossly below average and unacceptable. I have seen more than 7 of the doctors here hoping each time that this one would be better but they really are not here to look in the best interest of your health. They are run like a corporation. Any time I was sick, they were rarely able to provide a diagnosis, or at least a good guess. Instead, they prescribe a bunch of different unnecessary steroids and antibiotics. They don’t want to hear what is wrong or analyze how to best treat you, they just want you in and out of the office with a bunch of unneeded prescriptions as quickly as possible. Appointments consistently run about 1.5 hours late due to overbooking. I was once still very sick after my appointment once and called to see what the doctor recommended. It took over 72 hours, over 20 different phone calls to the nurse line and office manager, and you cannot speak with a human. You can only leave a message on the voicemail which is 100% of the time never responded to. I was extremely sick for four days, unable to get any response from any of the doctors or nurses. Lastly, I experienced a number of humiliating HIPPA violations where the doctors discussed or asked about my health details in the waiting area in front of many other patients. I hope no one else ever has to experience this. I will never be a patient with NAPC again.

I received a letter from Vanessa Womack as a follow-up from a previous review. She put in a request for me to be discharged from North Atlanta Primary Care because of the lack of transparency in her care. She no longer wants me to come to this location because I questioned the various tests she performed for no reason at all. I find that unbelievable because she has yet to reach out to me after failing to get results from a test 3 times. When I went to this office, she warned me that she was new to the office. I didnt think she was new to the medical field. She performed several necessary tests that were unnecessary just to be able to bill my insurance. I cant speak for all of the doctors here, but I will say that I had the WORST doctor/patient experience with Vanessa Womack. Ive called the office several times to find out information as to how I write a formal complaint with no avail. If my current physician feels there is an unresolved issue with my care, she shoots me an email, gives me a call, or has an assistant reach out. Unfortunately, this physician does not. And until I have the opportunity to speak to someone and let them know about how patients are being treated, I will continue to voice my concern. I cant speak to the rest of the physicians, but I can speak to this one.

I would not recommend visiting this clinic from my own experience with how they handled a billing issue not of my own making. I feel cheated, lied to, and seriously question their ethics. I went in for a routine physical and was asked on the intake forms about any prescriptions I take. I do take one prescription that I get written through another doctor, so I wrote it down. During my exam, I get asked about the prescription, and the doctor goes into an explanation about the potential side effects, which I already indicated I knew and didnt have any questions about. The doctor insisted on writing me a refill of this prescription (weird?), which I said was not necessary as again, I go through another specialist for this. A month later I get a bill from the clinic and was told "the doctor provided me professional medical advice and wrote me a prescription at my request". What? Calling the clinic and explaining the situation apparently falls on deaf ears as anything that happens is "patients responsibility". No more explanation was given and the billing departments hands are tied. If they cant do anything, who can? They wont be seeing me again, nor will I ever recommend this place, which is the best I can do as a consumer.
