A few months back I suffered a hip injury while running. I was slow to go to the doctor as I thought if I just rested it would get better. After a few months of it staying the same or becoming worse I finally went to my doctor who sent me to PT. I picked Physiotherapy Associates because they were close to my work. They were great to work with. Very work friendly and flexible schedule. One time I had a last minute work issue and was 20 minutes late, and they were very kind about it worked me in when I got there. I was grateful. I left with clear printouts of the exercises I needed to do between visits and they also emailed me a PDF of additional exercises to do. They asked lots of questions and reacted to my responses. That seems simple but customer service and listening is a lost art these days. The mood in the office between the office staff was full of laughter and the office was highly enjoyable to visit. For those that are new to PT, they usually have multiple patients in at the same time and they are giving each patient a specific set of tasks and then keeping an eye on everybody. For me the Physical Therapist was giving me specific instructions (treadmill 8 minutes, 3 sets of 20 of this exercise, the roll to my other side and repeat). It is not a 1 on 1 appointment, which to me was fine. I see some other comments about billing not being transparent. In general, Medical Billing to me is akin to what you end up carrying back in the bag after you take your dog for a walk. It just is what it is. For me there was the normal amount of confusion about what my insurance would pay and what I had to pay out of pocket. On two occasions I had to call them to sort out some points of billing, but they were responsive and I felt were as transparent as they could be.

Great place for PT and super friendly and assistive staff! They always work with your schedule and let you know if your therapist is going to be out and you need to reschedule. The front desk staff, Holly and Malorie, are always so nice and patient and assist you with any questions or needs you have. I had therapy with Dylan who is just the best!!! I had been dealing with plantar fasciitis for years and doing doctor prescribed stretching and icing with no results. I asked my doctor to try "dry needling" and from the very first session it provided immediate refief. Over the course of treatment it has completely changed my life. The dry needling is a little "uncomfortable" compared to other treatment options but nothing compared to my daily pain and it is nothing compared to the severe option of surgery. I cant thank Dylan and Phsio enough for the relief and change in my feet and my life. I would recommend anyone trying dry needling if it is an option for their condition. It is a serious "no knife/no drugs" way to go. Thanks Dylan!

I work for the City of Atlanta Police Department and recently got injured while at work. I pulled my intercostal muscle and trapezius muscle which eventually put a very painful strain on the muscles in my shoulder. At one point my muscles were strained so bad, I had trouble breathing. I was hesitant about physical therapy because I had never done it before and havent heard all positives things from friends and family. But to my surprise I was thoroughly pleased with each visit. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Both the physical therapist (Dylan) and his assistant (Tim) provided my with at home exercises to strengthen my shoulder after each session. I went to physically therapy for about two months and now feel 100% better. I would definitely recommend the needle therapy if you have muscle spasms like I was having (dont worry its not painful). The office and equipment are all clean and well kept as well. The billing process was very easy for me as well. I just paid with a card at the end of each session.

I started physical therapy with Dylan on Aug 29th for a frozen shoulder. At that time, I could barely lift my arm and was in a lot of pain. I have to be honest, at first, I was a bit skeptical about going to PT and didn’t think that it was going to help and was dreading the visits. To my surprise I’m so happy that I was wrong. Not only did it help but my recovery was much quicker than myself and Dylan expected (8 weeks). From Day 1 Dylan was excellent! He was so knowledgeable, personable and patient which helped me to feel comfortable and at ease. He really took the time to find out what exercises and treatment plan worked best for me. I actually looked forward to my visits and was sort of sad when it was over because I really enjoyed my time there. Although, I spent most of my sessions with Dylan, Tim also worked with me a couple of times and, he too, was great! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs PT…You will be in great hands!!!!!!!

On Sept 13th I had bilateral total knee replacements. For the first couple of weeks I truly regretted the decision and was in terrible pain and would not recommend anyone do both knees at the same time. However, once I got past the initial trauma and pain of the brutal 6 hour surgery and started going to Tim and Dylan for physical therapy everything changed quickly. They were knowledgeable, sincere, friendly and knew exactly what to do each and every session to rehabilitate me. I showed up early every session I was so exactly to see what they would do each session. Within just three weeks they had me walking without a walker or cane. I think they are the best and I would not be where I am today without them. I can run, ride a bike, go to the gym and pretty much do more than I could do before surgery! Thanks Dylan and Tim! You guys are amazing!!!

The services and staff here are AMAZING. I was in recovery from both a hernia operations and a herniated disc between my L4/L5 vertebrae. My program here took about 6 weeks. It was awesome. The staff is super friendly, approachable, and incredibly personable with their clients. I enjoyed my PT sessions, am back to 100% with my job (law enforcement and volunteer firefighting) thanks to these folks. If I get injured again and need physical therapy, I will absolutely be returning to Physiotherapy Associates (Windy Hill location)!

Ive been suffering from extreme hip/ groin pain and tightness for the past 4 years. Ive been working with Dylan for the past 6 weeks going in about 2 to 3 times a week. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He takes the time to get to know his patients and explains problems in easy to understand terms. He also gave me some stretches, exercises and tips that are helpful. The entire staff are very courteous and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy.

I started PT after a road bike injury with Dylan and Tim. Their goal was to get me back on the bike, ASAP, which certainly was mine, as well. I shared with them exactly where my pain emanated from the contusion of the hip and groin. They gave me specifically directed exercises each time I met with them and my progress was steady. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because I am at about 80% right now. Dylan and Tim are professionals and great to work with!
