Will never go here again. Recently, my female cat has been acting like she is in heat. Crying loudly, sticking her butt in the air, spraying on our carpet, just being downright annoying. She got spayed at the Banfield hospital on Austell Road in Austell, GA over a year ago. I called them to see if there is something we could do about this. They told me they would call back. A few hours later, I get a call from one of the doctors up there. I believe his name is Doctor Tanner. His solution is to deal with it pretty much. He said the only thing you can do is lock her up (since we have 3 other cats, with 2 being males) thats all he could suggest. He told me that female cats still produce estrogen and that this is why she still acts like this. I understand they do, but a year later she starts to act like she is full blown in heat? Then all you can say is that its okay, she wont get pregnant shell just have the symptoms though? Such a joke. This place is way too overpriced. I will never go back here again and will make sure no one I know goes here. Whats the point of getting our cat spayed if it doesnt do what its supposed to do? And a little side note, the other female cat is about 2 years older than her and she was spayed at another animal hospital with no problems whatsoever. I wish Banfield would at least offer to get her fixed again, since they screwed up the first time. We will be taking her to another animal hospital from now on. Thank you for making us pay extra for a half ass job. Worst customer service ever.

I am very upset with this banfield. I took my baby Karma in last week and the doctor did not even see me when I went in to pick her up. Instead he called me and explained nothing to me over the phone. When I went in to pick Karma up I asked how much her medicine was going to be and they didnt give me a number. they gave me and esitimate. I called to speak with Doctor Tanner they told me he wasnt in and he would call on wednesday and I never received a call. I am very worried about my dog and have many questions and I have to wait a whole other week to get them answered?! That is very unacceptable. Very unhappy. And not to mention the front desk staff. Ugh they were the worst. They are lucky the blonde nurse man was out there half the time because if he wasnt I wouldve yelled at these women with their rude faces and attitude.

I took my Poodle there due to being biten by another dog and they were awesome. They very quickly took him back checked him all over and came and let me know what would have to be done. Everyone was professional and also friendly. They knew I was very upset Pierre is my baby and he was hurt. I took him back on Wednesday and had the stitches removed. I have used Banfield in McDonough prior to this visit. I recently moved to the Smyrna area and was concerned that I was no longer near the Doctors I had always used. All of my fears were put to rest once I was at this location. They were awesome. I highly recommend them.

Didnt really like that they brought my dog into the back room just to give him a shot and left me sitting in the room wondering what was going on back there. They never really explained anything until after they brought him back to me and when the guy finally did bring him back he just left the room without saying a word. When I finally did talk to the vet she was really nice and answered all of my questions.

Front desk staff Rude. I have continued to deal with the rude front desk lady. She even fussed at me for being to early(15 min) according to her. I had to pull my phone out and show her text message that I was at my correct appointment time. She never did apologize for fussing at me just fussed about the system being screwed up. Every time I go unfortunately I see this lady and she always has attitude.

Dr. Tanner is excellent, but hard to get an appointment with due to how busy he is. Dr. Tollison doesnt have as good of a "bedside" manner, and tends to over-medicate. Friendly/helpful front desk staff.
