I had set up an appointment to get my dog spayed today. I get there and they have no record of the appointment, so they made me write all of my information. I got a certificate from spaygeorgia, so I made sure to ask if theres any extra fees aka whether Id have to pay anything other than the certificate. They said she needed three shots which I got her, but when they finally did take us to the back their estimate (after the certificate was applied) was almost $400. Now okay, I know theres always the optional cbc blood work which no way in hell is even close to that price range, but they also tried to charge me $62 for her being in heat even though she clearly isnt and I actually asked about that on the phone and they specifically said itd be $50 extra in the case of her being in heat. So not only are they irresponsible with their appointments, they give out false information and fail to even mention other crucial information. Literally wasted so much of my time, I do not recommend these idiots.

I went out of town on business and upon return I found that my cat was totally out of it. I did not know what wrong wrong. So I immediately set an appointment for her to go to the vet. Mind you, I think Id only been in the area for about two months. So I had no idea of who to take her to. I just started calling and because it was on the weekend the first person who answered I took her to. Well the staff at Acerill was so polite and kind. I was stressing and Im sure they could sense my anxiety. They took very good care of my baby Liza. Although she had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days, she is doing very well now. If it wasnt for GOD and Acerill, Im sure Liza would have died. Thank GOD and Acerill.

Dr. Nelson has been our vet for the past 10 or 12 years. He is thourough and collaborative in his diagnostic process and course of treatment. He is compassionate and communicative with pet families about the health and wellbeing of their animals. We have had two dogs that we raised from pups who passed at ages 17 and 10 from cancer. Our current dog is nine and has an autoimmune disease that affects her liver. The staff and doctors at Averill have seen us through a lot with great care, and respect. God gives us dominion over animals and I am glad to have Dr Nelson and Dr Averill to guide us in that responsibility to the pets we hold so dear.

Our dog is over 15 years old. She could hardly get around. Dr. Nelson and his staff went in to action after a kidney issues were thought to causing the issue. After treating her for a couple days it has been amazing our well she is now, perhaps some divine intervention as well. Now this has led to having to get IV fluid every 5 days and this is another area where the entire staff has went the extra mile with kindness as well as assisting with the gas up every week. We must be there more than any other patient, but are treated like royalty Thanks for grate doctors and staff!

We have been with Averill since 1994. They have been with us through the lives of 3 of our previous dogs. One of our dogs had extensive and very uncommon issues (a lower mandible extraction!). After this operation she had a quality life, mostly with the help and guidance from Averill Animal Hospital. Their attention and kindness through the illness was so incredible. All of our pets lived to the full extent of their life expectancies, even with a few situations along the way. I am planning to get another dog soon and would NEVER go anywhere else for its care.

My experience with other Vets never proved to be a good experience for my cat, Mr. Honey. However, when we arrived at Averill Animal Hospital with an unknown issue.....Mr. Honey was completely comfortable and our needs were met without delay. Then on our second visit, same story. Youd have to know my cat to know how remarkable that is.....he has nothing to do with anyone much. The care we received at Averill gets a 5-star from me and I rarely give a review, and rarer still, a 5-star. Awesome experience with the staff, Vet, care, concern......

Im and old time cat owner, but this was the first time for me to go to the vet. My male Tabby was getting his first exam. This being my first time, I didnt know what to expect. I couldnt have been happier with the love and respect they showed Cinnamon and me. I was worried about my baby. Everything is fine. The answered all my concerns. I was a part of my boys exam. I want to compliment the desk staff, too. There was never a question that they had my interest at heart too. These people are professional and they care.

We have entrusted our last two dogs with Averill Animal Hospital and have always received the best care for them. Our son now has a new chocolate lab puppy who just had his first visit with Dr. Averill. We know the same TLC given to our previous dogs will be given to Blue. Dr. Averill went over and above answering our questions and concerns, thoroughly examining Blue and reassuring us of his good health and how to maintain it going forward.

I love love love Averill Animal Hospital! They strive to work within your budget, always answer my questions patiently, and treat my dog like the little treasure he is. Everyone always seems so genuinely happy to see us whenever were there, and I know my dog will get the best care. I drive an hour from my house to stay with this vet, and that should tell you the quality they provide.

Staff is very friendly and helpful! Plenty of parking, grounds are kept up and the building is maintained. I left another vet practice because they were to busy, noisy and kept you waiting up to an hour before you could see the vet. This practice is is the total opposite and my pet/I did not leave frazzled by the end of our visit. We will continue to visit this practice.

There is no better place to take your pets. My cats and dogs have been Averill patients for over 15 years. Everyone from the veteranarians, the vet techs, to the front office staff, everyone truly loves animals and treats them with care and respect. They always remember my name when I come in and know my pets personally. They are the kindest people to care for your pets.

We trust Averil Animal Hospital to the care of our "boys" just as we trust a pediatrician to our other kids. They are always professional, caring, compassionate, and, above all, competent. I have always had good experiences at Averill. The staff is awesome - always friendly and welcoming. And my dog is happy to go there, anxious to go in and shows no fear. The doctors explain things to you and let you know how to keep your dog healthy. They go out of their way to work with your schedule. I am very glad I chose Averill when we moved to this area.
