NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS OFFICE AND HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Front desk girls are so unprofessional and the manager is worthless. The dentist Ashley is not a good person as she displays herself. I made an appointment for consult, they lady said I will need to provide a CC to put on file, this is something they do for all patients.(Weird and never heard of this before in my life. The first place that has ever done this). She also told me theres a 48 hour cancellation time(heard from other people they were told it was 24 hour) and failed to mention that theyre not open on Fridays. I had received a call on Thursday to confirm my appointment that was for the following Monday. I missed the call but called them back right away to let them know I need to cancel b/c my insurance wont cover it. She told me they will charge me cancel fee b/c I cancel to late. She said to avoid the cancel fee she will reschedule and I can always call back in time to cancel the rescheduled appointment. It was rescheduled for the next following Monday. So, I called back next week on Tuesday to cancel appointment. The lady cancelled the appointment with no problem and never mention about cancellation fee. That Friday, they charged my cc $150 fee without any notice! I didnt know about the charge until my husband saw it and called me to inform me. We both were very upset. I called the dentistry right away and got apologies from the front desk lady and the manager. The manager said shell need to talk to the dentist and she will call me back at end of business day. Never got a call so I called them. The manager picked up and knew it was me b/c she told me to hold. When she came back onto the phone she said ,she had to catch the dentist as she was walking out, they will make a decision in the morning and I will get a phone call first thing. Never heard from them, so I called them. Manager picked up and knew it was me b/c she said "good morning {name}". She apologized saying the dentist Ashley will not take the charge off b/c It was an inconvenient for them and they lost a business opportunity. Wow all they care about is MONEY! Obviously b/c they charged me without letting me know. Theyre not understanding at all. Circumstances happens and they couldnt even take that into consideration. The manager kept talking to me and pointing the fault all on me. Told me the dentist has a good heart and shes a good person. The manager also said that she hope I will give them a try and get to meet the dentist to see that she is a good person. Why would I ever go there when she charge me when I was told that I wont get charge and this was a bad experience on the phone. Thats a malicious act and no heart!

Beware of outrageous cancellation and consultation fees! When I initially called to make an appointment as a new patient, I was pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the girl that took my call. I was told over the phone that I had 48 hours to cancel my appointment, and a cancellation fee would apply. Totally fine, I get it - people are "no shows" and cancel appointments all the time. I used to work in a client facing position and it was so inconvenient when people would not show up or cancel last minute. So since I was understanding of this policy, I gave me credit card information to go ahead and book the appointment. The procedure I was interested in getting is generally not covered by insurance, so the day of the appointment I called to talk to them about this with every intention of coming in. They then tell me that there is a $300 consultation fee, REGARDLESS if you have insurance or not. I dont know about you, but I do not have $275 to spend on a 15 minute consultation. I was NEVER told when making the appointment that I would have to pay this consultation fee, which in my eyes is very misleading. Especially when they get your credit card information to even make the appointment. When I tell them I cant afford that kind of fee, they tell me the cancellation fee is the SAME AMOUNT as the consultation! So its pretty much a lose lose situation. I politely asked the lady I spoke with if there was anything she could do as I was not told this when I made the appointment. She told me she would call me back.....never heard back from anyone from this office. And just a side note - I enquired about the same procedure with a doctor in Buckhead, and was not charged anything for simply talking to him about my concerns (since the procedure is not covered by insurance, this is a courtesy of the dentist). With the being said, I will take my business and money elsewhere.

I have no doubt Dr Currington will post a response to this as she post responses almost every time someone is critical of her practice. Her office is lovely and staff delightful. Just know with her it is caveat emptor. We came to her office following our hygienist. Upon making appointments we asked if she accepted our coverage we got a half truth... the answer was yes ... we accepted that as fact and our bad ... we should have checked.. she accepts our coverage as out of network. We paid the difference but were surprised at the cost.... again our bad for not double checking the half truth answer. I agree to replace multiple fillings and from day one experienced pain and discomfort to the point where I did not chew on that side of mouth. I assumed the "New" fillings created some sensitivity. Well it never abated I went in several months later and it turns out a tooth she worked on was cracked. In our initial discussion it was made clear that my issue was from day one... she initially indicated I would have to pay for the tooth she cracked then some additional conversation took place and upon my departure from office a staff member indicated that is was a repair with no charge. I again assumed that along the line she changed her position. I ended up having the repair work done and paid for it and the day after received a text asking for a review. In my review I did not give a positive "will recommend" and asked for a call. She called me and vociferously argued her point of being right then called me a coward for posting something negative online ... hmmm .. I guess only peoples with nice things to say are acceptable to her. Long and the short .... nice office nice people.. when and if Dr Currington makes a mistake she will not admit it. I

Ashley Currington initially seemed like a very good dentist and business woman offering excellent care and service, however, we were quite wrong. When my wife had to go to the ICU to care for her mother on a moments notice and had to cancel her Tuesday appointment on Monday, Dr. Curringtons office said that canceling her appointment would violate their 48 hour cancellation policy and was unacceptable. Their office is not open on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays meaning we would have had to have known of my mother-in-laws hospitalization on Thursday the week before. Her office then proceeded to charge our credit card $350 for the appointment after calling four times during my mother-in-laws funeral and the time leading up to it. These phone calls were exceptionally harassing, and they demanded we make another appointment in order to avoid the charge we did not authorize. After my mother-in-laws death, they then proceeded to demand payment for this cancelled appointment. Dr. Currington did not have the respect to call us herself to discuss the charge. We have never received such disregard and disrespect when dealing with any business in our entire lives. We will never visit again.
