We hope our pets won’t need extended services, but we as responsible pet owners need to ensure the team of providers can deliver in three top areas 1.knowledge 2.Experience and 3.that they actually care what the outcome is, not business profits. _________Our Story__________ I took my 8 year old Cat, Meow-Meow, in when it was evident he wasnt feeling well. Within days, his illness turned life threatening where he eventually needed a lifesaving blood transfusion. (The hospital’s very own vet tech’s cat became his donor!) Three days after transfusion, he’s on the rise in what the doctors are calling hopefully optimistic. Ive learned that this hospital is not manned with 9-5-ers, nor people there for just a paycheck. The entire team of staff, from reception, to tech, to doctors are all a family of well trained and skilled professionals. From caring for your sweet baby’s health needs to caring for you – to also providing you with logical healthcare advice/facts in a way that you can understand - The team addresses everything about your family’s needs for why you’re there, holistically and completely. We went a total of 7 visits over 9 days, and though I felt they must be tired of me, they never made me feel anything other than their values and priorities in this situation absolutely matched mine. ______ I wish I could personally tell each and every person who is looking for a provider in the Buford area to become a client here, fully and completely recommend.

Weve been taking our dog to Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital since our dog was a puppy and have had wonderful, friendly service on every visit. Unfortunately our dog is a little wild and has a tendency to swallow everything he sees and along with a few other medical issues we have now become regulars. If you end up becoming a regular at a vet you definitely want the friendly atmosphere you receive at Hamilton Ridge. Everyone on the staff is so nice and knows and treats you and your pet as if you were neighbors. Our dog was diagnosed with a complicated liver disease that caught us and them by surprise. The doctors and techs went out of their way including after hours research to help gather and deliver the most information they could to help deal with and treat the disease. We are very thankful to have such a great vet in our are and would highly recommend.

I wish I could give them 6 stars! They deserve extra credit!! Dr. Rachel and her staff are so awesome! They have seen us through some dark times. My dog was diagnosed with cancer (mast cell tumor). Dr. Rachel had to remove an enormous tumor. She went through the procedure beautifully and everyone helped me through it as well. Dr. Rachels tech, Eric, was so sweet to me the morning of her surgery. I was a wreck,and he took the time to calm my fears and put me at ease..so sweet. My baby has made it through chemo and is doing great. They saved her life! My neighbor referred me to them, and she told me they have saved her dogs life too. They all do their jobs with excellence, and they are always so nice and caring too. I love this place! Hands down, the best vets office I have ever been to.

Aside from this office being located close to my home, the staff there provided exceptional customer service. I took my dog there for the first time last week and was overly impressed by the staffs attentiveness and concern to get my Bailey girl feeling all better. The offered to trim her nails at no additional cost which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. I love how they treated my pet as if she were there own personal pet. They are now my primary vet for my pet! I have also visited the other location on Ridge Road and the young lady that was there on a Saturday morning was awesome in the way she groomed my Bailey girl. Both locations have great employees that provide exceptional customer service.

My cat was treated for a kidney infection at Hamilton Ridge, and I couldnt be happier with the service shes received. She is doing a LOT better and I know its because of the awesome staff at Hamilton Ridge. Dr. Cummings, Dr. Rachel, and Eric have been so caring and helpful. They treated my cat as if theyve known her forever, answered all of my questions and concerns in depth and have kept me updated with phone calls throughout the day when Ive had to leave her there for IV fluids & antibiotics all day. Its, hands down, the best vet Ive ever taken any of my animals to and I would recommend them to anyone.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Hamilton Ridge. Recently, after grand mal seizures from cancer/tumor, we had to put down our family dog, Cali. It was such a sad time for us. Dr. Rachel and the staff made the (awful process) as best as it could be. Dr. Rachel spent time consoling the kids - the staff even gave us a casted paw print as a memory with a card and tuft of hair. They take wonderful care of our cat and kitten. We wouldnt go anywhere else. They are truly the BEST team of Drs and staff you could ask for! Thank you Dr. Rachel and staff!!!!

Im giving Four stars since it was my first and only visit so far for this location who were nice enough to fit me and my fur baby in their busy Saturday schedule, which I appreciate very much. Has a pleasant waiting area, friendly & caring staff who helped take care of Lola when she was gravely ill. My cat Lola was seen by Dr. Cummings who helped me make a difficult decision after an exam and some testing and I felt the best thing was to let her go... Even though it was not such a happy first visit, I would gladly bring any future felines to Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital.

Our senior dog is anxious about vet visits. With our previous vet he had to be sedated to get his nails trimmed. The tech (Eric?) at Hamilton Ridge had the magic touch and got the job done with no sedation. I subsequently made an exam appointment to discuss his arthritis. Dr. Cummings was very helpful in getting us headed down the right path for helping our big guy with his arthritis. Staff at the desk as well as the techs were very patient and caring. This will be our new place for vet services. Also its very close to home. Happy Dance!

The entire staff at Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital are so friendly and helpful! I came in the first time with our new puppy, 9 weeks at the time, and they were so understanding and sweet to us both. They were great with our puppy, Charlie. They offer water and cookies, which is such a sweet touch! Our second visit was just as smooth. We were not pressured to get shots that he doesnt need just yet and were given information about the shots and pricing for when we are ready. Everyone has been great so far. I highly recommend coming here!

I have been using Hamilton Ridge Animal Hospital for about 6 years now. The staff, from the receptionists, to the techs, to the doctors, are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful - it is apparent they all have a love of animals! Also, I never have to wait long to be seen and everything is also explained thoroughly before I leave; they offer drop-off services as well. Its also great that they call the day after my dogs receive any treatment to make sure they are doing okay.
