DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!! If I could leave zero stars, I would! I suspect that many of the reviews on here are fake (since I know this to be true about their yelp reviews). They were downright cruel to my dogs and 3 large men laid on top of my 4 month old puppy for a NAIL TRIM. I could hear her screeching and crying down the hall. She is now a year old and will not let anyone touch her paws. The vet was completely incompetent and could not be bothered to remember that my dogs are both female. This wouldnt normally bother me, but we were discussing fixing my puppy!!! I told a friend about our horrible experience here and she said that she works at a school down the road from here and she can hear animals screeching and yelping when she is at recess with her class. There are also reviews that have been buried under fake reviews where people complain about their pets coming home with infections and one womans dog came home from boarding here with rope burns around her dogs neck!!! Stay far far away from these animal abusers! This is the review that has been buried in their yelp profle (this isnt my experience, but another woman who had a terrible experience here): I recently boarded my dog here, and I was a bit apprehensive after reading another reviewer mention their dog always got bladder infections when staying here. I decided to give them a try anyway, as I was short on time. I very much regret boarding my dog here. She has a very bad bladder infection, but it didnt come on right away. It was a couple days after I brought her home that I became concerned. Today shes been feeling terrible, but Im treating her and shes slowly improving (for those of you who are wondering). I wont be darkening their door ever again, and I hope this review helps others avoid this sort of situation. UPDATE A MONTH LATER We have come to the conclusion that my dog was abused at this vet. When she started having trouble eating, we took her to another vet, and he verified that she had a rope burn on her throat and that her tracheal cartilage could have been damaged. He prescribed steroids, and they seem to be helping a lot. That is not the only sign of abuse, however. She has been shy of the leash, acted frightened of things she never had problems with before (like a water bottle), and has had problems with her hind legs. Sometimes she hasnt been able to potty because she couldnt support herself. Today she had problems walking at all. This is a very well-adjusted, well-trained and healthy dog. Before all of this, she was NEVER sick and was always happy. Someone at that vet must have simply terrorized her. Weve seen it in her eyes, her manner, and her reactions. My family has suffered so much heartache seeing her going through all of this, and we dont want anyone else to go through it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS VET. DR YOUNG AND HER STAFF ARE EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Read ALL reviews before taken your pets here. My husband takes our Poodle, Georgialicious, for baths. On our last visit, 7/28/16 the receptionist called me to inform about a shoot missing, and I advised her that she gets this shoot only ones a year with her vet in Florida. She went ahead to inform me, rather rudely, that their policy is twice a year. I advised her not to give shoot and that my husband would be returning within an hour and a half. Ten minutes later.....I get a call from Dr Young stating, she does not appreciate me speaking to her receptionist the way I did!! I could not believe what I was hearing & recapped to Dr Young the conversation. She simply said, she was next to her receptionist during the conversation and just heard the receptionist side!!!! ( Unbelievable, is all I have to say.) She didnt even realize that she was in the wrong and did not apologize. Again, be careful with these folks, I get the impression they are hard for money and will be quite rude and unprofessional if you tell them not to treat your pet and will be picking them up. Sincerely, Maria Armas P.S. Shame on you Dr. Young. **UNFORTUNATELY** I can not remove the 5 stars. This location doesnt even deserve 1 star.

I thought that the staff seemed friendly enough during vet appointments, so I chose Hog Mountain when we needed to board our dog. Although shed never had issues with being boarded before, she was sick EVERY time we picked her back up from Hog Mountain. Diarrhea, bladder infection, or both -- how odd! They said that they let the dogs out 2x per day and I knew she was ok for 10-12 hours at a time, so her sickness made no sense. The vets blamed it on her "easily stressed personality". Then I thought to ask about the timing and it turns out its NOT every 12 hours. Its more like 9-10 hours for the first half and then 14-15 hours for the other part of the day. OMG! No wonder our poor dog was getting sick! Holding her bladder for FIFTEEN HOURS? I was shocked but they said that the dogs can "just go in their runs if they really have to go". Um, apparently these guys have never encountered a well-housetrained dog, because I can tell you that my dog would let her bladder explode before she would pee indoors! Needless to say, I found a new vet ASAP ... and our dog has NEVER gotten sick from boarding since then!
