If I could give zero stars I would. I adopted a heartworm positive dog and had to work with this vet because of their partnership with the rescue group otherwise our first (of 7) visits would have been our only one. If you care at all about your pets, dont ever take them to this vet. They are awful, and I am enormously happy that I do not ever have to deal with forgetful doctors and assistants with attitudes again. I had to remind the doctor every time we went what he was supposed to be doing-- I was terrified (still am) that my dog did not receive all the necessary parts of heartworm treatment. I saw the other doctor today, and he spent a total of maybe 2 minutes (not consecutive) with me out of the hour we were there and was not helpful in anyway. I had to go hunt him down to find out why I was still sitting there, and the assistant rolled her eyes at me. The assistants there are so rude. No bedside manner or appreciation of their clients time whatsoever. Today was our last visit and I asked for copies of my dogs file-- turns out the first of our 7 visits was documented on the computer. None of the rest were. If it were a real doctors office, that would be malpractice. These people shouldnt be anywhere near your pets.

After moving to Georgia we visited several veterinary practices before finding Dr. Tolliver via the recommendation of friends from a local humane society. We have been through the highs and lows of pet ownership with the team at Grayson, and have always been impressed with the caring and compassionate service. That was highlighted one day, when our fourteen year old westie, Marco, managed to grab an apple core that had fallen from the cutting board and it got stuck in his esophagus, turned sideways so it couldnt enter his stomach. Of course, these things never happen at a convenient time. It was after 4:00pm, so I called Grayson and was told to come right in. Several hours later, after emergency surgery, Marco was doing fine. I had fully expected to be shuttled to the emergency hospital, given the late time of day, but Dr. Tolliver took care of Marco himself, and I am forever grateful.

I took my 1 year old healthy dog in to get neutered and when I called to find out how he was doing they told me that he died and they didnt know why. They said that one minute he was walking around and when they turned around he was dead, which leads me to believe that they were not watching him and that he did not have a heart monitor. Please go somewhere else I wish I would have read the reviews before I took my dog to this place. :(

My family has been a client of Dr. John Tolliver at the Grayson Vet for some 30 years. The staff is great and helpful and John is the greatest vet. We must have taken some 70 pets to him over this time - we are into Lab dogs and Barbara seems to rescue every cat in Grayson and takes them to be checked and neutered to Grayson Vet. You cannot go wrong with this veterinary hospital.

I have switched all 3 of my dogs over to Grayson Veterinary and so far have had very good experiences. They are knowledgeable and have assisted my dogs in overcoming some ailments and also are reasonably priced and do not over charge or charge for unnecessary things.

I rescued a tiny kitten, and they got me in right before closing on Saturday morning. Dr Tolliver and staff checked the baby out and gave her first vaccinations. Very good prices (I had called around) and caring people. I highly recommend them for your pet needs.

The front receptionist alone will make you want to turn around and leave. She is rude and condescending. Doctor sees you for a couple minutes and will walk out without you realizing he is done. NO "thank you" or "have a good day." Just leaves the room...

Im looking to change vets because my current vet has gotten to be very expensive. I called Grayson veterinary and they took my right in. They are very professional and they took very good care of my 14 year old...I think I found a new Vet!
