I went here twice, and may go back, as the doctors seem to be thorough, and know their stuff. That being said, before I returned to buy glasses this time, I wanted to review my options online for a glasses purchase (this would be my second pair, the first one I got there). I noticed my prescription did not have my Pupil Distance which is needed for online orders. I called the location, and was told "no, they did not give that information out". ...really? I guess its a way to force you to buy glasses from there? Its literally a measurement she did with a ruler. (google -> measuring pd) Anyway, I did it myself (with help of family/friends, and a ruler), based on Clark Howards recommendation. If you do go there (and I do recommend the doctors/nurses, they seem very professional), dont feel pressured to buy from there. You can just say, "No thanks, I am going to wait on buying glasses" (you can always return, if you like), and just ask for your prescription when you checkout. The admin folks are happy to write that out for you, and are real nice, as well. 5 stars for the doctors, nurses and admin. 1 star for the small shop.

I always feel like Im receiving a thorough examination from Dr. Furey. Intuitively, most people recognize the value of a great customer experience. Im disappointed in my request to retrieve some numbers on my prescription. A task that couldve taken one minute stained the reputation of the office. Ironically, I had referred three new families to the center; however, witnessing my callback and the customer service provided - they were turned off by the response. "Customers may forget what you said but theyll never forget how you made them feel. "

I had an eye infection and called around to many eye doctors but no one had immediate availability. Although this practice was also booked for the day, Caroline was able to help me out with suggestions over the phone to tackle my eye problem until I could get in to see the doctor. She was very understanding. Due to her help, my eye cleared up by the next day. Cant comment on the actual ophthalmologist because I didnt need to go in to see one, but the staff, especially Caroline, are super friendly and helpful!

My family have had nothing but positive experiences at Furey Family Eyecare. The staff consistently answers all our questions before and after making our appointments. Very comfortable coming to this office, the doctor and his entire staff are always very friendly and professional.
