Same review as her other office because they are the same practice! The only thing Sacred going on here is the name. I dont have an issue with the personalities of people here, Dr. Nwizu seems like a nice person. But the PRACTICES are in dire need of improvement. I was having trouble with the approval speed of my insurance and (my wife) was badly in need of dental care. So what we did was make a deal with Dr. Nwizu - DIRECTLY WITH HER, in her Conyers office. We would put the money that they were requesting from the insurance company up out of our pocket, and she would pay us our money back once the Insurance company came through with their approval. She was an In-Network dentist, so she should have known exactly how much she was getting. In-Network has set, agreed upon prices, so that should have guaranteed us our money back. She, or her office, did not honor our agreement. I even told her about another dentist I had a horrible experience with (to which there is a review on Yelp as well), and she was appalled, like she had never heard of someone being so crooked. But then she turned right around and is trying to burn me. The amount was $1,000.00 for extractions. In November 2015 I asked about getting my money back, and her accounts person says we will get back $384.00.. $616.00 less than what I gave her in lieu of the insurance companys payment. Her account person tells me the insurance company only paid them $384.00, so that is what we get back. I asked her - "If I hadnt given you that check, how would you have gotten that $616.00?" She admits that they would have dealt with the insurance company - and I WOULD EVEN HAVE BEEN IN THE PROCESS. So instead of going through the channels they were supposed to go through to get that extra money - they just take my money. They are In-Network - but she acts like she is surprised by what the insurance company paid them? They know this in advance, but she is acting like people are too ignorant to know that. Its too hard to deal with the insurance company, so lets just rip this guy off instead... They have been putting me off since November, my wife spoke to them once again today. They never return calls unless its a reminder to come in and spend some more money. Trying to get your money from them is like... pulling teeth. They were trying to get the rest of the money, telling us they would take it from consequent appointments. Dr. Nwizu displaced a bone in my wifes gums, because she is rough - and then she wanted to charge her to correct something she messed up. We are looking at going to another dentist, paying more money to get that issue fixed, because she cannot wear her dentures with the protruding bone that was caused by Dr. Nwizu - the bone that she wants to charge us more money to fix, because she doesnt want to honor her agreement. So in short - Sacred Dental is crooked, and tries to rip people off. We are waiting for one week for them to pay us our money - not even asking for the other money, but then we are going to go to court and ask for everything. Hopefully they will actually call us back this time. The offices are not kept very clean, furniture is worn, dirt in the windows. Posters that look like they need to go back in the garbage can. They have a TV in the Conyers office that is high up on the wall - but the TV looks like its about 20 inches - who can see that? When the dentist is working on you, she doesnt stay with you the whole time - she bounces from patient to patient. My wifes Novocaine wore off during her waiting - and you dont want to go bare mouth with Dr. Nwizu because she is heavy handed and rough. I sincerely hope they change their practices. There is no need for this. Just treat people right, and honor your agreements. There is no way i will go forward with her because of this, and it didnt have to be this way - but there it is.

Today was our second time at the office, but the childrens first time being seen for cleaning. The first time we came, we had to reschedule due to the long wait. We were double booked and were in the waiting room for an hour before I decided to reschedule. Today, however, we didnt wait long. I must concur the parking is a bit hectic and very maze-like. But, I had to double-park and move my vehicle when a prior patient left. While the staff is very kind, patient, and cares deeply for their work, I would not recommend this place for children. My son, during his x-ray, asked for a smaller x-ray wing. Instead of honoring his request, the staff forced him to use adult x-ray wings. He was very upset about it and immediately walked out to tell me (he is a child that is often quiet and highly pain tolerant), so I knew he was uncomfortable. Lastly, while the hygienist was very kind, she spoke very loudly. The entire front waiting area could clearly hear the chastising comments she repetively made to my children. I sat in the front area as long as I could without saying anything. I eventually had to get up to go check on my children and let her know she was very loud. I could tell she was passionate about her work and seeing healthy teeth, but the verbage and tone were a bit much for the children. The hygienist apologized and was very receptive to my comments. She maintained a cordial demeanor thereafter which was very pleasing. Again, the staff is GREAT, KIND, and PROFESSIONAL; however, I am changing my insurance carrier so that the children can return to a children-friendly facility. After we left, I asked the children if they wanted to return, all three unanimously shouted, “NO!” Each giving a compelling reason for not returning. From the mouth of babes….nontheless, I highly recommend this office for adults and teens!!

The lack of professionalism of the staff is appalling. I was charged for a toothbrush that I was informed was not in stock, but was promised it would be mailed out to me. That was April 4, today being May 16 I still have yet to receive it. After my 3rd call (having not received the promised follow-up correspondence from the first 2 calls) I was told to call back at a later time because she (she being Lee) did not have the authority to refund. As my recollection serves me Lee was also the employee who promised to mail the toothbrush. When I professionally expressed my concerns regarding the situation and the lack of follow-up Lee then proceeded to ask me "Are you sure you spoke with me?" The attitude she projected was unwarranted and unprofessional. Whether I spoke with her or not, she and all the staff represent Sacred Dental. So the failure of one equates a failure of all. I assured her I would no longer be utilizing their service, from the tone of her voice and response she could clearly care less. Having to write this review is unfortunate because I enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Nwizu, my suggestion to her would be to surround her practice with better representation. It is my strong recommendation that if you are considering becoming a patient of this establishment, Dont!.

1 star because it will not allow you to leave blank. Sent erroneous late bills for a service I never received. Followed up with threatening collection efforts and was very rude when I attempted to resolve the issue. I paid the bill to prevent any unnecessary blemishes on my credit and have resulted to hiring a lawyer to assist me with my refund efforts. It has been a month since the office has acknowledged their mistake yet they have failed to reverse the transaction on my credit card or to forward a check. This is how she treats a Army veteran recently returning home from Iraq. I have asked the Army not to list her as a vendor for veteran dental care and would advise you to consider the complaints before considering her dental services.
