When you are over a certain age and you have molars with large fillings, beware of Dr Mamut. She will encourage you to replace the filling with a crown. In my case I had resisted these temptations from other young dentists, but for some reason I gave in to Dr Mamut. For the crown I had 2 appointments. The 1st was to prepare the tooth, and this was very long appointment. When she was done the gum around my molar was very swollen. Dr Mamut and the dental assistant acted like nothing was wrong. They never offered me anything to help with the swelling. Most dentists I have ever visited, after such a lengthy process offered me mouthwash to rinse with but Dr Lanas office did not. I ended up purchasing mouthwash at the Publix nearby and then I went to work. After a few days of extra rinsing with a very strong mouthwash, the swelling went away. The 2nd appointment was to have the temporary crown replaced with the permanent crown. The appointment was uneventful but the crown has never felt right, especially when I chew food. Over the years I have had a few crowns done. To be honest, when I was younger I did not take care of my teeth as well as I should have and I have a collection of crowns in my mouth. This crown from Dr Mamut has never felt right since it was put in August 2015. When I chew I feel I cannot put the same pressure on food as I used to. I think if you need a dentist for normal things cleaning, checkup, maybe some cosmetic procedures, Dr Mamut is good, the staff is nice and the office is clean. The office has new technology, iPads, wifi, blue tooth etc and other devices that will impress many. But if you are a older patient, and you think you will have a need for a crown then find yourself a dentist with more experience, who can do a better job with the crown.

We currently have both of our girls going to Family Dentistry Avery 12 and Alexis 17. From the time you walk in the door to departing, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful in making the dentist experience an enjoyable one. This is our of the ordinary for me. They also take the time to come and get the parents and point out anything that needs additional attention. Fresh coffee and refreshments in the lobby are a bit of a perk as you wait as well. Holly was very helpful in showing us where Avery needs to focus on brushing better and she has shown huge improvements since. I would highly recommend Family Dentistry to anyone. Thanks for making going to the dentist an easy and enjoyable experience!

I recommend DR.Lana to anyone out their .She is really good and very patience .My kids love her and never complain to go to dental appointment. She is my dentist too. Any problem any time they fix it. The staff is friendly and they make sure that you are taken care.They send reminders for appointments and make personal calls too.If you cannot make an appointment like me they follow up with you and make sure to find a day and time convenient for you. On whole its an awesome dental office with great service.

Dr. Lana is very sweet and has an excellent caring manner. Many of my past dentists gave me the impression that they only saw dollar signs when they looked at me, always trying to sell me up on something. I have never felt "marketed" or pushed. I have a lot of confidence that she sincerely has my best interests in mind when she makes recommendations. The prices are fair. Availability and location are good. And the staff is always pleasant. Highly recommended.

I enjoy my visits to my dentist, Dr. Lana Mamut. Two years ago she corrected the bad work done by another dentist, Since then my teeth and gums are in excellent shape. She is not only a great dentist but she is also a wonderful, caring person. I am not just teeth and gums when I sit in her chair (which are sooo comfortable). Very nice staff that are much friendlier than you normally find in a dentist office. The cleaning went well, with a lot of communication about what is being done. Dr. Mamut was awesome. Very thorough and also very friendly. I really feel like they care about my dental health, but did not try to sell procedures and other things that I dont need. Overall, Im very happy to have found my new dentist.

Very friendly environment and treatment is very good. I refer anybody who wants dental treatment... talk to front desk or call them, they can help you. I just got a crown fitted today. It went so much quicker than at a previous dentist. At my last one, they had to readjust the crown (file it?) so many times--more than 10. But here, the dentist got it just about perfect the first time, and she only had to file it down a bit a couple of times. Also, everyone is very friendly and kind.

For someone who is very nervous to come to the dentist, my nerves were calmed almost immediately. Cindy was amazing and made me feel very comfortable.
