If I were to title this review it would be Turn Your Fears Into Cheers. I hate visiting the Dentist and for no reason I can describe, I just dont like going. After years of avoiding (over a decade) the trip my gums forced me to take action. I chose Chesney for no reason other than it was close to my house but I could not have chosen better. I have had three visits in two months righting the wrongs I had done to my teeth and at each one I was completely satisfied. At all three visits I was almost immediately taken to the "chair" and work began. I love the staff, they are professional, caring, consistent, and although they obviously interact among themselves they pay more attention to the patient than each other. I detest visiting anywhere that I am the customer but the staff carries on a conversation with each other as if I am a nuisance. Also, although this may have been coincidence each time I have had the same hygienist. I like that because she is the one who now knows my teeth. Bottom line is I recommend Chesney Dentistry I certainly am happy with their service.

I was referred to Chesney Dentistry and had only been twice for cleanings when my daughter chipped both of her front teeth. I called them up and they worked us in the very same day. I was told upfront that we may have to wait once we arrived, but we were called back sooner than expected. Knowing there were other patients to be seen who had appointments, we were completely understanding when Dr. Nathan had to break from us in order to check on others. The care the entire team - from the dentist, to the dental assistant, to the receptionist, to the administrative team - was exceptional. They were considerate of my daughters age and timidness in the attention they gave her. Dr. Nathan made her "new" front teeth look great and made her feel at ease. Even though our dental experiences with Chesney Dentistry have been limited, they certainly won us over and I have no qualms of recommending them to others.

Absolutely phenomenal staff, Ive been going for years and literally couldnt be happier. I never thought it could get better and now Dr. Nathan Chesney has joined the team and it is! Im really not a fan of getting my teeth cleaned or any other dental work for that matter, but this group puts me at ease and makes it easier for me. And talk about customer service! WOW! Text, email, and phone call reminders before appointments, awesome billing/insurance staff, convenient and flexible scheduling, and everyone in the building friendly, helpful, and smiling the entire time. If you are looking for dental care your search is over. Seriously! Try them out!

When I first got there, I didnt think much of the 7am appointment time. Staring up at ceiling lights when it was still dark out just seemed the wrong way to start the day. But on the way out, I realized I had the whole day left without it being cut in half for a routine dental appointment. How smart is that? Now Ill try to get that time all the time, but going by the crowd I saw rushing in there at 7, I may have to fight for it. Ha! Hey, and dont forget to stop at Krispy Kreme on your way to work or where ever you need to go. Its right down the street. Is that a sweet day or what?!

I have been a patient here for many years. The doctors are always positive and cheerful. On his long lunchbreak, Dr Chesney Sr rides his bike long distances. He says it is relaxing. He is an avid bike rider and in good shape. I have found that dentists who are physically fit are happier than other dentists. (We also go to Dr. Hicks orthodontist who is passionate about bike riding.) I like a happy dentist. Im nervous about having people working in my mouth. Dr Chesney Jr is also physically fit and happy.

I had a wonderful experience at Chesney Dentistry. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in until the moment I left. This is by far one of the best offices that I have been to in Knoxville. I really enjoyed Dr. Chesney as well. He was very intentional, informative and took his time explaining to me my situation. I hardly had to wait either. My appointment was at 2:00, and they had me in the chair at 2:00. I highly recommend Chesney Dentistry.

Horrible. They set me up to get a filling and a crown. Told me my insurance is quoted to pay 50%. Then after numbing me and starting in to work the front desk staff rush back to tell me they were mistaken and the insurance isnt going to pay for any of the crown. Then expect me to pay for the numbing procedure when they didnt even perform any dental work. Very disorganized and unprofessional. Definitely would NOT recommend this office.

I have been using Dr Chesney for years! The staff is always so warm and welcoming and Dr Chesney is just a great guy. If you ever have an issue between cleanings they always get you in quickly. I was deployed to Iraq in 2005 and had forgotten to pay for a bill before I left, They refused to accept payment from my Dad and said they just wanted me back safely. Needless to say, I will never use another dentist.

Since moving to Tennessee about 14 years ago I have had several dentist/offices that I was unhappy with. Either they would overcharge, rude receptionist, ect. But we found our with Chesney and the whole team is great. My 6 year old loves going to the dentist. That should be proof they are great by itself!

Great first experience at Chesney Dentistry! I had my kids with me and the staff was very kind and accomodating. My daughter had a great cleaning experience as well. I found them extremely thorough and professional. The office is clean and beautiful! Would definitely recommend them.
