Dont go unless you have $300 to spend on an ear infection. Just left here. My first visit was nice. Had to have our dogs anal glands expressed which was $25. Two weeks later she has an ear infection (we thought she had mites) and she kept licking her behind. I said exactly that and they took it as I wanted her glands expressed again.... I JUST had her ana glands expressed. So they did that without really asking. So that was an extra $22 I didnt authorize. Just to have my dog looked at was $52. Thats fine. I dont expect charity work from a ver. Then he mentions an ear swab to see whats up. Didnt really pose it as it isnt absolutely necessary but you can do it anyways. It was posed as we need to do this. That was $25. Just to swab her ear and look at it under a microscope. Who knows if theyll actually do it and if Ill even hear results back? Because nothing was said before I left. I only had $70 to pay.also, the vet mentioned dog good to buy for her possible allergies. $100 for a bag of dog good. Which is completely jacked up on price because you can get it online for $60 for a bigger bag. Cmon. So they automatically assume Im paying this much for food seeing I have 3 kids in tow. I love my fog and I want her to eat healthy, but 100 for a bag of food is absolutely ridiculous. And then to come at me and pressure me saying Ill carry it out to your car, without asking if I even want it?!? No. Then I go to pay and its 170. I wasnt expecting that do I said can I pay $70 today and the rest tomorrow. We get paid tomorrow. Usually vets Ive worked with in the past will work with you if you need tome to pay the bill. I was asking one say. Then a lady from beyond says with a bit of am attitude did you not know you only had $70? Way to make me feel like crap. We are saving for a home and all of our extra funds go directly to that savings account. Its not easily accessible for a reason. So yes I knew I only had $70 for my dog. I only expected to pay for the vet to give me an answer as to whY was the problem. Not all of this extra stuff. I probably will not return here.

This is our first animal clinic for our first ever puppy. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Our appointment was late in the day, and, yes we had to wait for 10-15min, which was not a big of a deal. In my mind, this is expected. I normally wait for a “human” doctor way longer than that. We met a nurse who was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and gave recommendation. Since it was our first time we wanted to consult with the doctor. Yes again, we had to wait, and it was longer than the first time. But then I realized why. Dr. Patel came in. I didn’t realize it was almost the time for them to close. We had a long discussion, countless questions, options, etc. I was amazed by the fact that she haven’t looked at the watch even once. All questions answered, all doubts resolved. She spent as much time as we needed. All the personal provided courteous assistance and nobody showed any signs of being tired of us (believe me I would have noticed). Sure enough, since it was a first time, I forgot a question or two. I was so happy when they called next day to follow up on puppy’s conditions after an immunization. I sure asked my questions and got my answers. Is it a perfect place – Don’t know if there is one. I can surely say that my dog and I got an excellent service and I am extremely happy.

I am a long time client since back in the day when Dr. Fitzgerald did not have other doctors in her practice. I recall a time when I had a very sick cat that I could not get in a carrier. She actually came to my home to treat him. My recent visit was on 6-3-17 when I brought in a free-roaming cat that had food and shelter and stayed at a local bakery. I noticed that the cat was lethargic and was told it had stopped eating. I decided I had to do something to help. Thankfully, SAH has extended hours and this was a very busy Saturday but I was able to see Dr. Patel. It turned out that the cat had injured its back paw and was in extreme pain. One nail had to be removed and two others had broken off. Infection was obviously setting in and the cats temperature was elevated. Treatment required Subcutaneous fluids, a long lasting antibiotic injection and an injection for pain. I was so relieved when the tech with initials MSH carried the cat snuggled in a towel back into the exam room, hugging and loving on her. Both she and Dr. Patel treated the cat with kindness and compassion. I recommend SAH for treatment of your pets as well as helping strays in need. On Monday, Dr. Patel followed up with a call to ask about the cat. I was happy to say the cat is eating, playing and doing well. Thank you Suwanee Animal Hospital for all you do.

HIGHLY UPSET with this vet office. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Beloved pet DIED within hours of bringing here due to GROSSLY misdiagnosing her. (I knew EXACTLY what was wrong and vet wouldnt listen to me - just scratched his head.) When I brought her in I told the vet exactly what I thought was wrong with her. Vet adamantly disagreed. I tried to show him video to PROVE how she was and he wouldnt even look at the video and wouldnt listen to me. I asked that the head vet Dr Fitzgerald call me and 1 week later my request was ignored. My cat died of EXACTLY what I thought was wrong with her. I only brought her here because my vet had to close early at 4:00pm unexpectedly. The very next morning I took her to my vet as soon as they opened they AGREED FULLY with me and AGREED that this vet was negligent. I am FURIOUS and UPSET. Billed me $70 - NO TESTS, NOTHING and didnt even have the courtesy to refund me! Vet just scratched his head - so WHAT exactly was I billed $70.00 for???? Appt was well before they closed and they did NOTHING to help her. Unethical. FURIOUS. Any good head vet should have returned my calls and IMMEDIATELY REFUNDED ME if my pet died due to their negligence!!! THEY DID NOT PROVIDE A SERVICE - THEY NEED TO RETURN MY MONEY!

I switched to this practice after my Suwanee Vet office (I had been going to for 10 yrs) Vets left the practice just when I needed them the most. During the offices transition, I lost one of my Yorkies and my second Yorkie was also diagnosed with heart problems. Getting a phone call back could take as long as a week and I ran out of heart medications for my older Yorkie. Not acceptable! On the upside....I adore SUWANEE ANIMAL HOSPITAL, they have multiple experienced Vets, My phone calls, clinical questions, and medication requests were returned by (A doctor/Vet) within a few hours. My puppy had to have a major hip surgery & Dr. Watson was fantastic. He also advised me on rehabilitation for my puppy! You cant beat the quality of customer service of the front office, nor the Vets experience this practice has to offer. I wish I had found them sooner! My puppy is getting spayed and her baby teeth removed today. The "other" Suwanee practice was a little cheaper on the spay fee, but, I wouldnt even think about taking my dog there again because Suwanee Animal Hospital has much more experienced doctors who are never to busy to pick up a phone, prescribe medication and reassure a parent! This means the world to me!
