We went to this place a few months ago. The vet is knowledgeable but this place is definitely overcharged and needs more effort on communication and price transparency. On the front desk it says all payments due at service. So I was thinking theyd give me some quote and explanation on what service theyre gonna provide and let me sign some paperwork. Wrong. During the visit, I was in a little room while my puppy was examined in another room by a nurse. I didnt really know what she did. She came back with some info and then the vet came a few minutes later. She took my puppy into the other room again and did something. And she came back saying she gave her some shot and some other treatment. I was like: whoa whoa whoa you never explained to me what you were gonna do and asked for my permission, you just did it. The vet went: nobody told you what we were gonna do? I went: nope. She then explained to me she gave my puppy virus vaccine, tested worms and did her physical examination. We talked for a while and then I went to checkout. The total is $122. Their service is not bad. I just wish I knew everything before they did it.

Great place! Besides very reasonable prices people who work there are very understanding, kind and very professional. I went there because I had an over 22-year-old cat who came to the final stage of her life – didn’t feel well, had trouble walking, missed her litter box and so on… It is always very difficult to put your pet to sleep… The doctor Bain and also her assistant Gaby were caring, honest and very nice. They didn’t stress my cat at all! First the doctor sedated her, and when my cat was sleeping, she shaved her leg, found a vein and did the final shot. She made sure my cat stopped breathing, came to me and gave me a hug. It was a very humane approach, and I felt some relief. I highly recommend this place!

Dr. Ross and her staff are EXTREMELY kind. I got a puppy in January (of 2013) and have taken her there 6-7 times for various things in 3 months. Everyone there has treated my puppy as if she were their own. Dr. Ross has a wealth of knowledge that she can offer. Granted I have only had small reasons for visiting (bacteria infection, regular check ups, vaccines, got bit by another dog, etc). Finally, the office isnt super busy and hard to get an appointment at. Every time I have been able to schedule an appointment, I have been able to do it that day, often within the hour. Thanks Dr. Ross and Staff for being awesome!

Dr. Ross saved the life of our 12 year old cat who had swallowed a piece of string that was about 12" long and ended up tied around the base of her tongue and wound through almost her entire body. Dr. Ross and the staff at Riverside couldnt have been better! The surgery was challenging, but she pulled her through. And even though her recovery was during a holiday weekend, she responded to all our follow-up questions as they came up. It is now 4 years later, and our cat is still going strong. We cant thank them enough, and we continue to go there.

Missed Diagnosis. I have taken my German Shepard here twice in the past 6 months for a recurring UTI. They decided after the first culture to give her a mild antibiotic, after the second occurrence they gave her a stronger antibiotic. Now she is building a resistance to these drugs. She has bladder stones that were simply missed. I took her to Russel Ridge Animal Hospital and they got the diagnosis right in one shot. Now she has spent the last 6 months suffering and has to have surgery because the stones are too large to pulverize and pass.

I highly recommend Riverside to anyone who has animals. The staff is wonderful, and the doctor is so friendly and great with my pets. I know that when you read reviews, you can tell a quality review by it being balanced with a downside, but honestly, there is no downside to this vet. I absolutely love her, and continue to take my two dogs to her even though we moved away from Lawrenceville. Riverside is fantastic!

Dr. Ross is awesome. She is honest and kind. I never feel like shes trying to run up a bill like I do at other vets sometimes. You can tell she knows her stuff because she actually gives you options. I highly recommend her!
