Dr Schanding is amazing! I drive 40 minutes to see him (he was our previous vet but moved- thank God for google). I love that when I come in he greets me but then immediately gets down on the floor and greets my furbabies. It means so much to me that he is hands on with them and takes the time to explain everything that he is doing. He will not oversell services that arent necessary. I completely trust him and will do anything he recommends because I know he has their best interests at heart. His staff is so nice! Since its so far of a drive I have to bring all the non-furbabies with me too. His techs and receptionist are very patient with my children and kept them from being bored. I love that they have complimentary water for the human population too. The office is small, but clean and organized. As far as pricing is concerned, I think its pretty standard and fair. I cant say enough positive things about Batavia Animal Clinic, I will definitely recommend it!

We have had two dogs treated there and have had a wonderful experience. When one of our dogs needed to be put down, we received honest and caring help making the decision. When it was time, they gave us the office after hours so we could privately say goodbye. We appreciated that so much! Recently, our other dog was struck by a car. It was scary! When we called we were able to bring him in right away. He received a thorough check up and some medications and we are happy to report he is doing great and his road rash is almost healed completely. I have been to other vets and I can tell you what impresses me most about Batavia Animal Clinic is that they are fair and honest with their prescribed treatments and fees. I have had very minor issues treated by other vets that cost me hundreds. I have left feeling broke and taken advantage of. Never the case at Batavia Animal Clinic. They only do what is necessary and the fees are fair. We will continue to go back!

I have been bringing my dogs to Dr. Adam Schanding for years and I dont trust any other veterinarian for their care. He is highly knowledgeable, researches the smallest details, is very skilled, yet very gentle and loving to each of my babies. He obviously loves what he does. I trust him completely with their care. He never recommends unnecessary procedures (Ive dealt with other clinics and it was obvious they were after my money, not my pets care). In the past, he had diagnosed Cushings Disease in my little Boston Terrier, when no other vet even considered that may be the cause of his distress. My dogs know they are safe and seem to enjoy the attention. They are never afraid or nervous. The support staff are efficient, detail-oriented and professional, yet kind and caring. Its a family-like atmosphere where they make you feel welcome. I always leave with a smile on my face. And did I mention I drive 45 minutes to get there? So worth it.

Such a wonderful Veterinarian office. They have seen all of my animals, Guinea Pig included, and are absolutely wonderful people. The Veterinarian himself is super gentle and very unobtrusive. I have rescue dogs that are not really wild about men and they are perfectly fine with him touching them and trimming their nails. As far as their prices go, I would say they are on par to any other Vet in the area. If you leave them a message, they get back to you with a solution. The biggest thing I love about this office is that they do not push products that you do not need and they talk to you about the vaccines that you need. They do not force anything on you and you feel that you are helping make the choices about your pets care without any judgement. I would drive here if we moved out of town.

Didnt know what to do when our Vet of 30 years retired and we werent sure where to go . We didnt like the new vet purchased the old business. I worked out with Sarah and I knew she worked at a vets office so I thought Ill just ask her what she thinks She give her boss very positive and helpful review so we tried him. Both my husband and myself are very happy. We r very picky about our dogs medical treatment . Never had a problem getting in....we both feel at ease with the doctor....he seems to care as much as we do about our dogs.. I would recommend and refer him to anyone . I am honored to bring my pets Bo and Payton to Batavia Animal Clinic where they receive amazing love and care from Dr. Schanding. Dr. Schanding calms each animal with TLC before the examination. He has offered amazing advice and suggestions to my husband and me. I have had wonderful veterinarian care in the past 25 years, but I couldnt be happier with Batavia Animal Clinics staff. They are considerate and incredibly friendly (and even sneak Bo a treat or two). They are all involved in the care of the animals. I absolutely give Batavia Animal Clinic, Dr. Schanding, and the entire staff a five star review.

I have taken my cat Isaac there two times and have been very happy with the service both times. The nurses and the doctor are friendly and knowledgeable. They would also hear out any concerns regarding my cats health. Never did I feel like they were forcing a treatment on my cat, they would always discuss the pros and cons with me and I had the final say in treatment. Overall I felt my cat and I were given great service, and treated with respect. Oh and the doctor even remembered My cat and I even though my visits were months apart. This has become my primary vet.

Batavia Animal Clinic is the greatest. The staff is so wonderful and caring, Dr. Schanding is amazing! I highly recommend any one with fur babies to go see them for any and all your pets needs. I recently had an emergency with my cat. He was bitten by a dog and was very injured. With out calling first I wrapped him in a towel and rushed over. They took us in immediately and kept him all weekend. He recovered completely. Dr. Schanding was very caring for his needs and he also was comforting and reassuring to me that my kitty would be fine.

Took our rescue dog, Riley, to Batavia Animal Clinic today and had a great experience with the owner and vet, Adam, as well-as the rest of his staff, notably, Sarah. Adam was kind and patient with our dog. I observed Adam with Riley as he was given the exam, and noticed little things, like him pausing for Riley to sniff the stethoscope before it was applied to his chest. Most vets do not take care like that. I would recommend Batavia Animal Clinic to anyone with a pet! Will be back for years to come.

Weve taken our pets to the Batavia Animal Clinic for over 15 years and have always been pleased with the service. In the last year or so, Dr. Schanding has assumed ownership of the practice and we have seen a significant overhaul in the office and services. The staff that weve always loved are still there and Dr. Schanding is a wonderful vet. He takes time with his patients and truly cares about their health. We would highly recommend the Dr., Sarah and the entire staff at Batavia Animal Clinic.
