Have taken my cat and dog to this vet, twice when urgent situations arouse and they got me in without an appointment really quickly. I have seen 3 different vets, a different one on each occasion, and have been thrilled with all of them. My cat had a blood in her urine, they got her in 30 minutes after I called, the doc was wonderful and caring. We took a urine test, blood test, they gave her an antibiotic shot and some pain med drops. She was feeling much better to the pain meds, and the urinary issue cleared up the next day. My dog I have taken in for a sore neck and today what turned out to be bad skin allergy. I called, they had no appointments available but said I could come down and wait. They got me in to a room right away, and the doc was in to see us within 15 minutes. My dog snipped at the vet today, which I was totally embarrassed about, he never does that, but was just in pain. The vet handled it very well, we got a muzzle on him (which he wasnt thrilled about but was necessary) She was very knowledgeable, upfront and honest, and really cared about my dogs well being. We are from Phoenix, and this is our first Chicago spring/summer. The allergens here are much different and I was pretty clueless on how this affected my dog. She took time to explain in detail and printed me out some information. Costs very reasonable, I think it was $45 for the visit(even the urgent last minute ones), plus $30-40 for each of the various medications. So happy to have this place so close to my house. Great for routine checkups and as well as unexpected urgent issues!

I really wanted to give them a 5 because the vet and vet tech are EXCELLENT. They were very caring toward our cat and took our concerns into account and did quite a thorough job examining our cat and trying to get to the root of the problem. However, the receptionists were chilly at best. They seemed to be judging us because our toddler was being very active, like toddlers do, and we took turns walking around with him as we had to be there for over an hour and there wasnt much to do with him to keep him occupied. My husband said they gave him the stink eye when he was walking around with our 19 month old son, even though our son didnt touch anything and was just walking around. When we went to check out they made us wait quite a while (even though you would think they would want us to leave if we were annoying them that much). I could understand if they were getting things together like our bill or whatever, but there was no attempt to be friendly on their part...just a cold awkward silence while we waited. It felt a bit like the movie Mean Girls. However, the vet and veterinarian really shone and were excellent to us and our cat so we will return for them. They are the ones you take your pet to anyway, the ones that matter. But just be forewarned that things might be a bit unpleasant in the waiting area should you venture there...

Within the first 24 hours of adopting my German Shepherd, I noticed he was breathing way too rapidly and was “coughing” and was acting odd. I took him to the ER around midnight that night… Turns out I adopted him when he had severe pneumonia. In fact, the hardened tissue took up almost his entire chest cavity. I was told by the ER tech that had I waited for the morning, he wouldn’t have lasted. He ended up being hospitalized for 7 days/nights. When he was able to come home, he was taken to Brookville for his first visit (follow up from hospital stay and shots). Dr. Lehal called daily asking how he was and walked me through how to take his temperature from home to monitor his health. That right there set them apart from any other vet I’ve ever had. Since then, my 3 dogs and my cat go here for their annual shots, etc.. I’ve always had the utmost care, they patiently answer any questions I may have and they are very thorough with my animals. There is no other place I’d ever go than Brookville! I was living in Bolingbrook when I initially came across them. Since then, I’ve moved to Minooka and I still take the drive to this vet. I would absolutely recommend them!

I have taken my dog here for the past 4 years and have typically had great care. The doctors have been willing to work with us to find the right medication for my dog to help with her anxiety and fear. I usually have no problems scheduling appts at convenient times. The only time I was disappointed in the service was when my dog was throwing up blood and I was told they could not see me. While a very nice staff member provided me with helpful information, the severity of the situation meant that I had to see another vet that was able to accommodate me the same day. I certainly understand limitations of appts, but it is still disappointing that a place I have taken my pet to for years was not able to get me in for a quick appt due to the fact that it was a serious issue. This made me reconsider staying with this animal hospital.

Dr. Lehal is absolutely outstanding. THE most compassionate vet Ive ever known. He doesnt just care about your pets, he cares about YOU! Ill never forget when my min pin needed life-saving surgery (she had decided to eat a sock - UGH) and he even called me late at night from his personal phone to check up on her. The following day, after I had no sleep and was near tears from the stress of her after surgery care, he had me bring her in so they could take care of her for a few hours so I could get some sleep. Ive never known a vet to have such a huge heart. Plus, their facilities are state of the art and clean. He is HIGHLY recommended for your pets needs. Unless we end up moving out of state, well never visit another vet -- EVER.

Clean place and was pleased at how they took care of my dog Pitufa. Shes a little bit aggressive and hates going to the vet. Brookville didnt care. They treated her very nice and the staff was very patient with her. They said she is more scared of them, then they are with her and they had no problem with dealing with dogs that are aggressive. My dog is the world to me and for them to treat her that way, means a lot. Her surgery went great and she wasnt over drugged, a place we took her last time gave her to much drugs and she was out of it for 3 days. She recovered smoothly and I am satisfied with what they did for her.

Brookville Animal Hospital is by far the most amazing animal hospital in the area. I have been to MANY in the immediate Lisle/Naperville/Bolingbrook area and there is none even come close to comparing to them. I have seen a few doctors here, but we have religiously seen Dr. Lehal for both of our pets for the past 8 years. Our relatives even drive out from Park Ridge to come to Dr. Lehal. Not only is their level of customer service and genuine care second to none, you CANNOT beat their prices either. Give them a try and you will never go anywhere else!
