Terrible experience! Do not take your pets here. They make a good impression at first but you will be surprised. They have an outbreak of the dog flu and they are still taking dogs for boarding. Our dog was returned sick, and while we waited there in a matter of 25 minutes four people showed up with their dogs coming back because they got sick after staying there for a few days. The Dr. admitted that they had 20 to 30 sick dogs OMG!. And they still take more dogs? I could get into details of my experience but this place is not even worthy of my time. Their technician Victoria (I believe that was her name). She is RUDE! When I was really upset and questioning their practice and the fact that they kept getting sick dogs back, she was yelling at me and ready to argue stating that I signed a waiver and they were not responsible for illness or injury to any of the dogs. I will pay my bill after a see if my dog recovers. I took my dog directly to another vet and they treated us completely different. For instance, they referred to our dog as "patient" and they gave us printed documentation of the type of illness she had contracted and explained that there was an outbreak. Compared to Springbrook where they called us 20 minutes before we picked her up to tell us she had a bit of a cough. They lied to us, they were trying to soften things and cover them up. they did not want to admit they had a full blown outbreak and they need to handle that before they keep taking dogs. At the other vet, they told us several vets/clinics had to completely close their doors to recover from the outbreak. Springbrook wont do that and wont admit that they have a virus outbreak. They want to keep making money but there is a fine line between running a business and treating patients. One of the pet owners there explained to us that she was waiting for her dog because he was turning for the worse after staying there for four days and she had to pay all of that because of the "waiver". So just be careful with this place please, they might be good at simple things like shots, and the like but they wont admit they have an outbreak and they would hide the truth about the pets health so they do not end up being responsible. It saddens me to see thay they really do not care for the dogs, it is purely business 100%. Feel free to contact me if you want more details. There is no making things up here, I just do not want others to go through what we did.

We took our 6yr old dog to spring brook to be boarded because we were recommended here by a friend. Lets start by saying this was the worst experience ever!!!! First thoughts are wow this is a really nice place, clean, everyone is friendly, and its New. Man was I wrong. Our dog was there for 5 days and during his stay he had urinated all over our blanket we had took there for him (we have boarded him multiple times in the past and this has never been an issue, also dogs dont use the bathroom where they lay there head unless they arent being let out properly). And while dropping him off the lady who took me back there had explained to me they go out every two hours. The friend who recommended us picked him up for us because our flight was delayed. She had stated that they were extremely rude to her when she got there. When we arrived home we had noticed that his food was barely touched which we measured out to the exact amount (1 cup twice a day, 10 cups total). We also noticed that his Kong ball was missing which the did return later. However it seems that one of the workers must really enjoy Victoria secret because the huge pink bag that we took all his items in just happens to be missing. We have called and tried to get them to fix the problem(Lesley the manager actually had the nerve to blame this on the lady that picked our dog up for us, clams that she had called about the bag a couple days prior to picking him up. Funny thing is she didnt know she was picking him up until that evening). we have even went there. But they just say were not responsible for lost items. How is the one item that all his stuff came in missing? Im going to probably say someone there has sticky fingers!!!! And last but not least we get home and our dog has kennel cough. Only would be common sense that when a vet would notice this they would treat him. But instead they wait until I call to complain about it to do anything. Horrible place, they mistreated our dog and stole from us

Our 2 french bulldogs were boarded at Springbrook Animal Center while on vacation. They contracted the flu while there. The bad thing is, despite me calling to check on their wellbeing during the week, they never acknowledged they were sick, made no notation of their symptoms in their chart, and the staff was going to release 2 very sick dogs to me upon my return. 1 coughed all the way to me in the reception area, and proceeded to throw up at my feet. The other one was wheezing and laboring to breathe, had significant discharge from eyes and nose, and was very lethargic. One glance and anyone could tell these dogs were very sick. I asked to see the vet and they confirmed that they had the virus. While we were disappointed to find sick dogs upon our return we were more concerned that they were in such distress and no staff bothered to notice, to care, or to call us to notify us so treatment could be started. I was then speaking with a neighbor and she said their dog was at Springbrook over Spring Break and her lab was returned with a cough... she was told "a cough is going around" They had to go back to the vet for iv fliuids, antibiotic and supportive care. The fact that they discharge sick dogs and no mention is made to the owners that the dogs are sick is very concerning. If you care about your dog, look for other boarding alternatives.

In managing a local rescue with dogs coming to us in need of medical and behavioral healing we couldnt have created a better group of people to partner with in saving the dogs lives. The entire staff from those on the front line at the service desk when you enter the building to those in the backrooms caring for the dogs in the kennels are first rate professionals and people. The veterinary assistants and techs always take time to update on a dogs care and handle our dogs as if they were their very own, with huge doses of caring. The doctors, Timmons, Laabs, and Navrotski have all attended to our dogs in their care with equal measures of skill, compassion and patience & understanding of our many questions. The facilty itself is modern with all the latest equipment and consistently remains clean and sanitized. Its a rarity to be in a building that size with clients coming and going to not be overwhelmed with the smell of pets; somehow they do it. Whether you are a rescue with two dozens dogs at a time or a client with one very special best furry friend, you can trust them to do right by you and your loved one. Truly cant say enough good things about our experiences with this facility and look forward to continuing to partner with them to save lives and start our rescue dogs off on the right path of being healthy.
