We take our dog here for routine vet care and have always been very, very happy. I was prompted to write a review after rushing our dog to Roscoe Villiage Animal Hospital last night for emergency care due to extreme diarrhea and vomiting. The whole office was amazing to us!!! I came in crying with my dog and they quickly rushed him back to check him out. Dr. Rovner than spent a good hour with us examining our poor doggie and explaining his diagnosis. Multiple staff members stayed way past closing hours to help us out. They were genuinely concerned and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Rovner was so patient and gentle with our dog (and me) and really made a horrible situation so much better. I highly recommend them! Thank you Roscoe Villiage!

Top notch service and peanut butter! We take our dog here for wellness visits, in between visits when she eats things shes not supposed to, and most recently a tumor removal. The whole process was simple: drop off, updates throughout the procedure, and pickup. Dr. Gonzalez is our primary veterinarian who also performed the removal procedure. She is highly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Our dog loves her and all the vet techs. They have an have endless supply of doggie talk, caresses, and peanut butter to keep our dog at ease during visits. I highly recommend. There is a parking lot across the street that is pay to park some days and limited street parking.

I had the opportunity to visit this office over the weekend when my 19 year old cat died and my usual vets office was closed. From start to finish, the staff could not have been more empathetic and professional. They were able to quickly accommodate me on a Sunday morning. When I was ushered back to the private room, they had dimmed the lights, had a candle light, a bottle of water and tissues. I wish I would have had met the people of this fine practice before now. If you have a need for a quality, caring vet practice, I would highly recommend these folks. Updated review... Brought my dog in here to get neutered, when I came to pick him up and pay the bill they wanted me to pay $18.00 more for a cone protector... REALLY? After all the money Ive given you for the procedure you cant fork over a cone protector? You have got to be kidding me. This place is a joke.. This is a fine place to take your pet. They have a very professional staff, and are obviously trained well. My biggest issue is the cost. Its exorbitant and out of hand. Not sure if they are more expensive than other vets, I just know they will tax your wallet big time for the most miniscule of procedures or even a simple routine checkup...

Our dog almost died due to RVAH misdiagnosis. We went to RVAH twice in the course of the week, an by the weekend had to bring dog to emergency clinic were she was operated on 3 hours later. The surgeon told us our dog symptoms and condition were veterinary101 and he was stunned she was misdiagnosed twice by 2 different RVAH vets. We were RVAH clients for 7 years but we are not going back after this tragic incident. If you are willing to pay expensive fees for basic routine checkups and risk your pet to be misdiagnosed in critical condition, RVAH is your hospital.

After trying many Vets around my area, I went to Roscoe Village Animal Hospital and, after several visits, theyre the best Animal Hospital Ive been to. The doctors and staff are so caring and knowledgeable and they provide the best care my dog has ever had (my dog has had many ailments and they finally made him feel better and he finally received a correct diagnosis and treatment). Theyre a bit more pricey than other hospitals, but its worth it. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Rovner is an excellent vet. I followed him to this clinic when he left his old one (as did most of his clients). He treats my cat like they were his own, and always gives good advice. He also telephones back about any concerns (even . Ive recommended friends to him for their cats and dogs, and everyone is always happy. I cant speak about the other vets at the clinic, but he is a great vet.

The entire staff is friendly, courteous, and very professional, and they all seem to possess a kind of intuitive bedside manner. I love this place. I have moved around the city and continue to bring my pets here. From the front desk to the veterinarians, everyone is friendly and courteous. They are upfront about cost and what is more pressing to take care of vs what you can plan for, financially. I cannot recommend them enough.

Great friendly people, clean environment. I lived right across the street and loved that the Animal ER was close enough for me to carry my girl of I had to. They were all very caring and sweet, made us feel very comfortable. Well be sticking with Roscoe Village Animal Hospital.

Dr. Rovner and his staff are amazing. We have a 14 year old dog and 6 year old cat and have been seeing Dr. Rovner for over 5 years. They are very caring and spend the time figuring out what is wrong. There prices are competive and service superior.
