My family and I have been patients of Dr. Lesser for many years, at least 15 or more. He is extremely thorough and diligent in both his exams and his diagnoses. I had a great deal of difficulty finding blood pressure medicine that would control my high blood pressure, but we worked through it over a relatively short amount of time, and found a combination of drugs that worked well to control it. In addition, the office and nursing staff has always been pleasant and professional. I have never had any problems with excessive wait times to get into an exam room or while I was in the exam room. I appreciate that Dr. Lesser takes his time with each patient answering questions and alleviating any concerns, so to me if I have to wait a bit, it is well worth it to me knowing that the care and treatment I receive will be based on my level of understanding and comfort. Lastly, the additional office fee is much less than going to many other doctors offices where there is a charge for every filing, billing, submitting, etc. of results, etc. to insurance and other offices, such as to a specialist. I have had many acquaintances who use the Centegra Primary Care Physicians and a visit basically costs them $200 to $300 a visit once all the paper work fees are added which insurance does not cover. To me, the most important criteria with Dr. Lesser, is that he is in his OWN practice with his name on the door. He doesnt just get a "paycheck" for hustling patients in and out of the office like with some "hospital" physicians groups. I worked in one of those offices, and the doctors are generally of lower quality since they earn a paycheck and are not responsible for the actual practice and continued growth of it.

I have been going to Dr. Lesser for about 8 years now. He also sees both of my daughters. He is a good doctor and has a well-run practice. Reviews like “He is the bomb” do not really tell very much about him. I have high blood pressure which I take medication for. This week I called Dr. Lesser’s office to make an appointment to have my blood pressure medication refilled. I was informed that they have started a new policy in which the patient now has to pay a $50 annual fee on top of any co-pays. The fee goes up to $100 if you bring your family there. So let’s do the math $100 for the annual fee for my family, $30 co-pay for UHC and a $10 co-pay for the medication. A total of $140 just to have my blood pressure medication refilled? That is too rich for my high blood pressure. The nurse did tell me that they could arrange a payment plan “really” a payment plan for 1 appointment! I guess it is time for my family to find a new doctor. I just find it sad that I have a doctor that I am not unhappy with, but I am not paying for the new $100 annual policy. Medical insurance already cost way too much money and adding another fee like this is just not an option for me.

Unprofessional ... new patient in May 2016. Saw doctor 2x over 3 months. Neither time was I measured or weighed, instead just asked my height & weight. Had blood work done both times, neither time was asked if Id fasted or any other prep questions. In 3 months Id quit smoking, started exercising, changed my diet, and dropped my cholesterol 80 points. No comment from the doctor on any of them, other than advice to "stop running" because it was bad for my knees. (Id set up the appointment to ask questions about my knee health as Id started running). When labs came back (and cholesterol had dropped 80 points, the comment I received was "the doctor reviewed your labs and theyre normal" May work for some people, but I want a doctor who is an advocate for my health. I felt like nothing more than an appointment on a schedule both times I was there.

Had several problems at this office. Not only did they vaccinate my daughter and not have a record of what they gave her, they never bothered to find out when I questioned them about it! Also, my husband went and was given the wrong prescription, and when he called, it was brushed off as a "glitch in the system". Waited (on more than one occasion) over 45 minutes in the exam room.

The annual fee thing is one time per year. It makes sense instead of paying all the feed throughout the year for paperwork, etc. This office is very good about refilling prescriptions for me on time and they always do a great job explaining to me exactly what they need to do to make me feel better. Super nice staff, especially while Im still figuring out my new insurance

Dr. Lagursky is a real fine doctor. I have been taking my family to her for the past four years and found that her diagnosis and treatments are sound every time. She saved one of our family members from death or permanent liver failure caused by other doctors due to there prescribing drugs that had conflicting interactions.

I have been a patient of Dr.Lessers for 27 years. My family has had a long relationship with him and his staff. I think there is a lot to be said for seeing the same familiar faces for so long. I would highly recommend this office to anyone. Hes always gone above and beyond to take great care of me.
