I recently took my 2 cats to Forest View. The first was almost 2 years old and just need her yearly shots. For her, it was a simple in-and-out visit that took maybe 5 minutes to have the vet check her out and give her the shots. The second one, a kitten, needed her last round of boosters and a front declawing. While some places can be extremely judgmental about declawing (Ive even been lectured about the alternatives for just mentioning it), Forest View was very professional and understanding. I dropped her off in the morning and was able to pick her up the next morning, with the vet making an extra effort to come in a little earlier to accommodate my schedule. The procedure went smoothly and the next day my little kitty was running around almost like nothing ever happened. I know it depends a lot on the cat, but it was by far the fastest recovery Ive ever heard of. Overall, I was very impressed with my experience. Making an appointment only took a short phone call and the prices were the best around (one in the area was charging $500+ for just a front declawing, with an average of $200-300... my total came out to under $225 for the declawing and shots for both cats). You could tell the people really cared and I would definitely recommend this place to others. I know Ill be returning (though hopefully next year for shots and not any sooner!).

Will only take my dogs to Forest View! Dr. Sholts is now treating my third Boxer. He has a great demeanor, is very knowledgeable, will not push you into anything unnecessary and truly cares for you and your pets. Dr. Bufton and the other office staff are just as great. I drive 40 minutes to continue taking my pets there after my move. I received ill-advice from a prior Vet while my eldest Boxer was nearing the end of his life before I switched vets and Dr. Sholts found the problem and helped him enjoy himself up until his final days and even made a donation in his honor after we had to put him to sleep. That is something that can never be forgotten or repaid! I highly recommend taking your animals here as you will not regret your decision. They are a long time Veterinarian Clinic in my boyfriends family for good reason.
