I have been taking my cats and dogs to Beaumont since 1987, thirty years, when the first generation of Beaumont Vets was there. This is a highly professional office, where things are spotlessly clean and everything runs on time, and the office staff greet you and then love on your pets. Dr. Beaumont is kind and thorough, my pets feel calm and comfortable around him, and maybe Im just lucky, but my pets only need annual care for vaccines and flea medication. Recently my elderly dog needed something for some kind of pain, and Dr. Beaumont diagnosed it without running expensive tests or unnecessary xrays. He takes a conservative approach, lets try this less expensive thing and see if it works, then we can move upwards. I trust the office and the staff, and if I needed to board my pets I would use their facility. We have boarded our cats for more extensive care in the past. Even though the kennel is right there, you dont hear frantic dogs and wailing cats like I have heard elsewhere. Everything about Beaumont projects confidence and calm.

For a few years, I took my oldest cat to Caring Hands and UI VetMeds Teaching Hospital off and on. They did a thorough job, but I had mixed experiences during an ER debacle (dont worry - my baby is fine). When I met my husband, I found out he was going to Countryview, and that happens to be a sister clinic of Beaumonts. After going with him to one of her appointments, I was impressed by how soft-spoken and gentle the doctors are. Our middle fur child growls at everyone except Dr. Beaumont and some of his associates. He is the chosen one. She has decided. Whether I have a quick question or need to bring one of them in for an exam, they are always available and do their best to give me as much information as they can. Theyre very personal and down to earth folks.

We have been taking our pets to Beaumonts for the past 22 years and before that as a kid, my parents always took our pets to Beaumonts. We just recently lost our German Shorthair of 11 years to cancer. After having a tumor removed we were so thankful to have been able to love an enjoy her for another 4 months before she passed on and thats because of the wonderful care she received at Beaumonts. Dr. Beaumont and his staff were so caring with all the above and beyond care and attention that they gave her during her last few months. We are so thankful to them for that. We have since added a puppy to our family and shes already been introduced to Dr. Beaumont and his staff. We wouldnt take her anywhere else!

Ive been taking my dog and cat here for six years because it is within walking distance of my apartment. Its ok but not great. The staff are not terribly friendly. The vets seem fine. The young one is more personable and seems more knowledgable. The older one seems nervous around my dog and a little less up to date on animal medicine. Also, when I bring my cat in for his yearly shots and exams, the older one just gives him his shots and doesnt give him and exam except weighing him and checking his fur for fleas. Im not a vet-med student or anything, so maybe there isnt much to do for a cat examination, but $60 seems expensive for a simple skin check. Overall, theyre fine for routine vaccinations.

Long story short: my cat had a simple food allergy, and the doctors here performed tons of completely unnecessary procedures, including an expensive surgery. When my kitty didnt get better, I took him elsewhere, and the new vet told me Id been taken advantage of! I ended up in debt and my cat in lots of pain because of this clinics inept vet med decisions! STAY AWAY!

We just had our first visit to Dr. Beaumont and he was wonderful and definitely the best experience we have had with a vet. He explained everything so well, was very kind to our pet and us, and we would highly recommend this clinic to anyone. He explained our options well and offered no pressure in our decision. Great doctor. Great staff. I totally trust these folks with my two cats. Very competent and also friendly and flexible. Willing to take appointments last minute for something that comes up (dont want to use the word emergency, but sort of milder form of that sort of thing--unplanned, need attention right away--theyll get you in).

I took my cats here when one was wheezing. The vet said it was allergy problems and put him on steroids. That never helped. The doctor was kind of old and I feel he wasnt up to date on his medical treatments. It was probably 50 years since hes been in school. I basically wasted money because my problems were never resolved.

I am trying to remember how many years we have been taking our dogs to Beaumont Animal Clinic. I know our Molly lived 21 years! Before that our Sandy lived many years. Our Phoebe is 3. So, probably close to 40 years! Always kind and professional. I dont take my dogs anywhere else!

Clean, professional, and super friendly staff. Everyone is kind to the animals, and theyre honest about what you need for your pet; they dont try to charge you for anything unnecessary. I really like the way this place is run. Very helpful and accommodating.
