For anybody serious about their dental health, I say beware of Farrell Dental. I set up an emergency appointment there for a broken crown in my upper jaw where a bad infection had previously started at the same tooth that swelled up half my face and nearly closed my eye on that side (this can be life threatening, being so close to the brain). This earlier infection took four different antibiotics to control and a new infection was already setting in at the same place. The place is a real hole in the wall. On one side of 159th St. is a good sized office complex. Farrell Dental wasnt there. It was wedged into a 20 foot wide storefront between a couple of fly by night businesses on the other side of 159th, so it took me a good ten minutes to find in the first place. When I got there an unfriendly receptionist said I was one or two minutes past their deadline and refused to let me talk to a dentist about my emergency or see anybody even after I described my situation to her so I walked right out of there. I went to another place (Valley View Dental) and got an emergency checkup within two hours without even an appointment. This points out how more difficult and unsatisfactory being a patient at Farrell Dental is likely to be than in other dental facilities, unless you actually enjoy being bullied by part timers. And if there is a real health threat, dont expect any sympathy or understanding. I certainly didnt get any there. The place is small and it looks like theres no responsible personnel - their listed dentists appear only there to fill in gaps in their primary practices, so, except for low risk checkups or teeth cleaning and because of their obvious uncaring attitude, itd be smart to go elsewhere.

I have been to the office three times. On my second visit, my children (4 and 7) and I had our cleanings. My son is petrified of the dentist still, but I was allowed to stay right beside him and hold his hand. My daughter was also told that she needed to have two cavities filled, in addition to the tooth the orthodontist requested to be pulled. At the second visit I was given a detailed outline of the costs, I was shown what my insurance would cover and what my copay would be. Last weekend, we went in for my daughters visit. The staff was very attentive to her as she was a bit nervous. She let Dr. Rashid know when she was feeling more than just pressure. Everytime my baby girl asked, the staff paused and tended to her. She was in a bit of pain during the process, but immediately after she was perfect. Dr. Rashid and her hygienist are amazing. I am thrilled with the way they care for my children. I also appreciate the transparency in billing. I knew one month ago what my cost would be for this visit - and the cost was the same to the penny. I will continue to recommend Farrell Dental to anyone who needs great dental care!

DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS PLACE!!! They are terrible with kids and they changed my daughters perspective of the dentist forever now! They terrified her!!! Had to go to a pediatric dentist after they forced her and scared her so bad she wouldnt let them finish. On top of that they MISSED things that needed to be fixed and even told me a cavity my daughter had was a deformity of the tooth and didnt need fixed!!!! They tried prying her mouth open and everything!! Also did work on me and already my tooth has chipped so now I have to go find another dentist to fix their bullshit work!

I have terrible anxiety about having work done by a dentist. To the point where I had put off having work done til I was in serious pain. Dr. Thompson and his assistant were very kind and patient with me. It really made me feel at ease having work done with this practice. Best dentist Ive ever been to by far. Thank you!!

Even though I didnt have an appointment they got me in because of tooth pain. They did a good job in attempting to evaluate all possibilities without charging me through the roof. I was also impressed that the dentist sought a follow-up to make sure that it was all working out and I no longer had any pain.

I went there to find out I have infected wisdom teeth so they give me prescription for pain med and anti biotics neither of which work I am still in pain and unable to eat plan to go in today to change atleast the antibiotics so that I can start eating again.

I was very happy coming to this office. The staff was super friendly,courteous,and attentive. I have no complaints and my daughters were satisfied with the service from the dental assistant to DDS. We will come back in 6mos for the next check up.

I had two root canals done here and one they never finished and couldnt seem to see me to ever get it done. The other I have to get pulled because it was never done right (even after being retreated there)
