So I walked in one day because I had just come back from Seoul, where I saw all of these awesome frames and wanted to see if this place carried any of them. They did! They also carry the styles that were used to in America, but they definitely have the ultra trendy frames imported from Korea. After finding the frames that I was looking for, the friendly folks asked if I wanted to have an exam. I wasnt planning on it, but I did have a pair of 5 year old glasses with a slightly cracked lens and figured why not? Since this was a Korean business inside of a primarily Korean shopping center, I expected to have to break out my [sic. very poor] Hangul-reading skills, but I didnt -- English charts were available. The exam was quick, thorough, and performed by the friendliest people in the optics industry that Ive ever met; one of the reasons I go 5 years without an eye exam is because Im used to being treated badly and just dont like going through that when dealing with my eyes, at Chicago My Optical, you get treated very well. Its the first time I cant wait to go back to the eye doctor. I was told that my glasses would take a week. Every eye doctor says that and none of them ever deliver. I always expect to wait 2-3 weeks for my glasses to be done. Here? Nope, it was like 2-3 days! Im already showing off my new pair. To top it off, theyre prices are really reasonable. I dont have a vision plan, so I always have to buy my glasses outright. My pair came out to less than half of what my previous pair came out to 5 years ago. Good stuff!

Highly recommended, they changed my eyeglasses in an hour with very low price! They have on site lab and its run on Saturdays.
