Out of all the dentists I have been to throughout my life, this one is by far the best. I have never done a Google review, but after yesterday I couldnt help but get online and give White River Dental 5 stars. Being new to the area, I was having a difficult time finding a dentist that could get me in ASAP to find out why I had been having tooth and gum pain the last several days. After calling several dentists in the Columbus/Nashville area, I was able to schedule an appointment with White River the day before my appointment AND they even let me in when I showed up 30 minutes late due to having to work later than usual. The staff was very friendly right when I walked in the door. After observation of my gums and teeth from the dentist and after an x-ray to confirm the problem, I was informed that I needed to have two of my wisdom teeth removed. With it already being 6:30 p.m., I was dreading having to wait until the following week to have my wisdom teeth removed due to my busy schedule. I sure was surprised when Dr. Ayers said that they could remove them right then and there! I was out of there by 7:30 p.m. and I hardly had any swelling where the two teeth were removed! Thank you White River Dental!

Worst dental experience of my life. I went in to get a crown replaced. This is a routine procedure that should have taken about 90 minutes. No joke - I walked into White River Dental at 8:45 a.m. for my 9 a.m. appointment and I walked out at 2:15 p.m. The dental hygienist fitted me THREE TIMES with a porcelain crown and they all broke. One even shattered IN MY MOUTH. Finally, after I was gathering my stuff to leave, the dentist, Dr. Aaron Strickland, came in and fitted me a crown himself. Very unprofessional. Then, to make matters worse, Dr. Strickland offered me 10% off my bill for "all my troubles." He failed to communicate this to his front staff and they charged me the full amount. I was told I would have to speak to the office manager to get my bill adjusted. So far, I have called twice. I was told the first time that the office manager was out to lunch and the second time I was told she was out of the office. I honestly cant believe how badly I was treated by White River Dental. They have permanently lost my business.

I attended the dentistry from the heart annual event. I have never been in the position to not take care of my dental health until the last few years. I was expecting the normal treatment I usually get where I am scolded for not taking care of my dental needs (if I could I would). I expected it to hurt as it has always hurt in the past. I also expected people to look down on me or treat me differently because I couldnt afford this on my own. What I received was kindness from the moment the staff spoke. They were friendly, sweet, explained everything that would happen. They were attentive to my needs. When seeing how bad my ex ray was there was no lecture. Just an aww honey well get you fixed up. I felt zero pain, they worked with precision and explained everything to me. They made my tooth that continued to absess all better. I would recommend them to anyone. Especially if you are afraid of the dentist. They are amazing! Thank you for your generosity!

So to start off with, nothing against the dental assistants or dentist. They were great. Accounting and reception is the worst company I have ever dealt with. This is actually my first time ever writing a review, I feel compelled to. I paid for my tooth extraction up front and the nitrous. After I was all done I got a bill for the gas. I was told I was wrong and they did want to hear anything else. 6 months later, I made another appointment. I called to reschedule due to an emergency. They tell me this is your second cancellation, you will be charged $35. I never made another appointment prior to this one. I told her that, she says oh yes you did. But no I have not had 2 cancellations. Again they do not want to listen to the customer. I told them go ahead and bill me, I will pay it. And i will use a different dentist. Terrible. Will never go back or recommend.

My tooth broke-off and left the roots in place. My dentist charged me $75 to advise me that I needed an oral surgeon or else Id get an infection. Several months went by. I went to the VA and requested an appointment... they rejected my request as my problem was not combat related. So I went to the telephone directory and the first ad I say was White River... I made an appointment... I informed the Dr. Strickland that I would kill him if he hurt me. He laughed and deadened me gums then began to extract said roots... No pain what so ever... the cost was around $400. The dentist stated: I pull about three wisdom teeth per day... he called around nine PM to see if I was still alive and instructed me on how to stop the bleeding. And thus Im still alive and able to help people to financially plan for retirement. Gum intactus.

Put shots in my left side of my mouth after I had told them I was allergic to it. the entire right side of my face went numb. This procedure gave me TMJ for a week and my fillings fell out afterward. Very rude people! I tired to tell them to stop giving me shots and the dr yelled at me to put my hands down! She left because she said I needed to calm down. They left my mouth open for two hours for a procedure that should have only lasted about 30 minutes. I laid there shaken and embarrassed. Absolutely sickening. I wanted to ask for dr strickland but after seeing him in the news? Never going back there again, both doctors are TERRIBLE PEOPLE.

The staff are a joy but I get seen by a Dr who says my nerves are inflamed and something else it feels to me I have an infection but he says I dont but I had 3 of them I know how they feel anyway they talk my mom into a root canal 919.32 w insurance and for pain they tell me to take ibrophen Ive taken 10 of them and still in pain and they cant do root canal till Sept 2 they expect me to be in agonizing pain for a week I dont think so I am going to a different dentist Monday checking out their options and Dr see if really want white river as my dentist

White River Dental does a great job with my dental health. Dr. Aaron Strickland and his staff are so friendly and professional. The office and waiting area are always neat, clean, and well organized. Any procedure I have had done was always explained thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. They also have great hours and are even open all day on Saturday which is very rare. It is a pleasure to do business with such a nice group of people and I never experienced any pain with any dental work that I have had done at this office. Great place!
