I am not a complainer, but when it comes to my health its a different story, and reading these other womens experiences, im more disappointed and saddened. Ive gone here for years and just in the last 2 1/5 has it gotten so bad that i am now having to travel to make sure my health is in good hands. It is sad that this place isnt up to great standards for the women in the community and surronding communities. Ive had issues with getting ahold of the phone nurse, waiting 6 months to get a biopsy, the doctor only spending a short period of time with me and acting like my questions were silly, rescheduling me the day before my appointment and telling me i couldnt get in until 2 more months, and just to top it off, i havent been on the same birth control for a year and 2 months because they never seem to remember what im taking so everytime i go to pick it up its different, and this fall i was off of it for 3 months because they forgot to call it in, i finally talked to the phone nurse after trying to get ahold of her for a WEEK and she still didnt call it in! Its not ok! I hope they get their act together and fix whats broken for the sake of the women who need and have to go there.

Im agreeing with all the previous posts. I was sent here because Ive had a previous c-section and thought that because I was being sent to a real doctor and not just the clinic that I was in good hands. The secretary staff hasnt been too bad, but I really dislike the doctor/patient communication. I barely see the doctor 3 minutes each time. I asked about testing for gestational diabetes early because I was showing signs of it, plus I had GD with my first pregnancy, AND both my parents are diabetics, she pretty much told me no, we would wait. I went for 20 week ultrasound and because they couldnt get the pictures they were needing (mainly I think because they had a new training u/s tech trying it out) they are sending me to Indy because they "have better equipment." If the baby wasnt cooperating, why not try scheduling me another day and trying it again, but no, I have to use my time and gas to go all the way to Indy just for a routine ultrasound? That doesnt sound right to me. Im hoping to move back to my hometown soon and cant wait to get my previous ob doctor back!

I am so disappointed in my experience here. I was here about four years ago and the doctors were attentive and helpful. Now I feel like I am at a baby factory. I have literally seen the doctor for less than two minutes on multiple occasions. Today after a very intimate ob check he practically ran out of the room thrusting my chart back in after I got dressed. I hate it and would switch if there were options and I was not extremely pregnant. The nursing staff is hit and miss, but when it's miss it is big time miss. Two of the front desk ladies don't even make eye contact with you!!! The other is nice but has taken prescreen calls at the front desk where we have all gotten to hear EVERYTHING about this person. Every time I go I feel horrible, liked I was just ticked off somebody's list of to dos. To be blunt I am not a complainer, but am so disgusted I purposefully searched for a place to share this with others. What a shame for it was actually a decent HUMAN environment once upon a time.

Absolutely terrible experience. I have had nothing but negative outcomes from all of my appointment with their staff and doctors.the front desk clerks are rude with their separating glass widow. If someone is waiting you dont close the glass as if they arent even there. Their wait times are outrageous, my last appt I waited 1 HR and 40 mins. They attempted to turn me away for not having my insurance card although I previously seen them 5 times (within the 16weeks of my pregnancy) AND they have previously billed my insurance. Not to mention the dr usually spend a total of 1min in the actual room with me. Never again.

Very unprofessional secretary staff. Very discriminatory. If they are going to be running late getting to you in your room they do not let you know they will be late, nor will they give you the option to reschedule. You have to take it upon yourself to get dressed and walk up and leave while making a different appointment on the way. The doctors do not seem to care at all and spend less than a 5 minute span with you. Do not address any concerns, push cesarean sections. I would NOT recommend this place for anyone!

Would have to agree with the previous comment, the front desk staff are lacking in customer service skills needing of drastic improvement since they are the first impression to the paitents, as for the doctors some are better than others but have also had a very dissapointing experience at this location. Unfortunately in Richmond there are very little options for pregnany woman but hopefully their skills are better than their bed side manner as I do know some woman who have been very happy with them.

HORRIBLE experience. Disorganized (they lost paper work and a blood sample) and serious miscommunication with everyone who works there. Nobody is on the same page and everyone wants to give their own (completely different) diagnoses.
