Not only does all the staff have their heads up their arses and cant do their billing right, but half the doctors dont give a crap about the patients. I suffered an injury to my back and went and seen Patty Cox who sat there looking at me like I was a druggie and told me (without any test, no x-ray, mri, etc) that there was nothing they could do for me. I believed her and felt ridiculous for being seen( I was an 18 yr old kid). 5yrs later the injury and my back had gotten so bad I could barely walk and had to go to the doctor again but chose a different clinic/hospital all together (mercy) and they ran several test on my back and discovered I had Meralgia paresthetica (the paresthetica nerve was pinched between my 14th and 15th vertebrae as well as pinched in my socket of my right hip) that had calcified. I had to do many different steps before ultimately having to do surgery. When my doctor and I reached the decision for surgery, she shook her head and asked me why I didnt seek treatment sooner, if I had, all I would have needed was physical therapy. So I explained what happened to her...what sucks the most is that, had Patty Cox done her job, I wouldnt of had to do such a surgery amd in the end the stature of limitations was up to have sued that supposed Dr. Cox.

We have normally had a decent time at this urgent care until this week with the new building. It is very nice but yesterday it took 30 minutes just to get our name on the board and once it was on it said an hour and ten minutes. After about twenty minutes our time status had not changed. We came home because my son deals with ear infections decently well and thought wed try an appointment with family medicine today. Called right away in the morning and there were no spots available. Husband tried urgent care then again today and it was just him and another person in the waiting room and they waited 50 minutes. In all that time waiting it took a doctor two minutes to tell us that our son had an ear infection which we already knew. There has to be a way to get through quicker and we might be going to the Iowa Clinic next time instead. The building and the people are wonderful, but they cant make up for this kind of wait. Also, why is the urgent care waiting room so small and the family medicine one is overly large? *I have posted on here because I cant find any contact information on their website to contact them directly as I would prefer.

Dr. Marsh was an excellent doctor who truly cared about his patients. when he left the clinic I was forced to switch to Patty Cox. She made me switch off my medication I had been taking for 7+ yrs that was working fine. She then experimented med after med on me that I told her I was not comfortable with as I experienced horrible, scary side effects from. She kept forcing bad meds on me and when I finally said I wont take any more new meds this is scary and wrong she dropped as a patient for non-compliance I did everything I was told as she forced these meds on me that nearly caused death! Do not trust her, your life may depend on it. I would not recommend Patty Cox or Loftus. I do not trust her as she has proven to be inconsistent, says one thing then does another. I have talked with other past patients of hers that agree with me. I am a mother and coach and safety is number one, her acts and words have proven she is not safe and I would not trust her. This is just my opinion, you can decide for yourself.

My Dr. Brett Reimer, was great. The company as a whole is just another money-grab clinic. They wont even call in a prescription refill for my heartburn medication without a visit. So, I can spend weeks trying to coordinate a visit just for the doctor to ask how Ive been, check blood pressure (which I have done monthly) and tell me hell go ahead and refill it. The whole system is broken and no wonder it costs a fortune. When I told the nurse I guess I would just self-medicate and try to find another doctor that was more convenient she said "Well, good luck with that!" Way to put your patients first! Do yourself a favor and find a doctor whose staff cares as much as they do, I didnt realize how important that was until now.

If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. I think it should be avoided at all costs. I should add--I have been to several UnityPoint clinics, and I have had great experiences with all of the others. This is the ONLY UnityPoint clinic that falls short of what I have come to expect. I have been there, my husband has been there, and I have taken my daughter there--three total visits. Each visit has been worse than the last. Both the nurses and the physicians are rude, demeaning, and unhelpful. I am not a doctor, but I am concerned that they are also not very competent.

Dr. Webster is a very unfriendly & rude person. Talk about making someone feeling low when theyre already feeling pain and dicomfort in the first place. I saw him in the urgent care. He is not my primary doctor. He was there yesterday as well and I was told that Id be seeing him. Well, it wasnt him who walked through the door and personally insulted me as a person right in front of my husband. I will never go back there. Its sad because I thought my dr. And I had a pretty good relationship as far as my health had been a concern for over a year now.

I have never encountered so much incompetency in my life! I have tried times to reach someone at the office AND the billing company they use to discuss a bill I have received. Not only have I received bills for co-pays I paid WHILE I WAS THERE! I have also received a refund for a visit that should should never have been billed to my insurance. I can not get ONE person who is smart enough to help me, when I do get someone on the phone. And thats when I get someone. I have left four messages and NOBODY calls me back.

The nurse was so RUDE! My teenage daughter was in tonight for an ear infection. I was texting my husband and as she left the room she says "we need to make the sign for no cell phone use bigger". First of all, if you have something to say, say it to the person "adult 101". Second I was not interrupting or disturbing the process. I thought nurses learned bedside manner!
