On any other day I would of given this clinic 5 stars. The staff is usually great. Dr. waters is a great doctor. But I have been dealing with some serious issues and I cant get medication to help. I am in pain. I cant eat without medication and getting a refill is hard. Today I tried explaining my situation to a clinic representative and have not gotten a response. I guess I will just suffer until I get my surgery in September. So as far as I am concerned this clinic let me down. I dont want to have to pay for ER visits and hospital because my clinic dont want to help get me through this. This clinic referred to a pain clinic where I never saw a doctor except when I had expensive painful procedures that had them injecting huge needles into my back that did not help and we will be paying for for another year. After researching this "PAIN" clinic that I was referred to by Allina I found that I am not their only victim. I have always liked Elk River Allina clinic. They are really good about getting you in when you or your kids are sick. The best pediatrician in the worl works there (Dr. Raja Heel). I dont want to have to change clinics but I feel as if I am being treated like some kInd of hypochondriac or something. After researching I understand why!! But thats is not me!!

Experience was terrible, and has been the last few times Ive been there. I see a specialist at another clinic and have for several years. Hes on vacation, my Meds will run out before he gets back. Trying to bridge the gap. Talked to my primary doctor and would not help, Made a Appt. with another doctor. Jessica Kesinger, Shes starts telling me I shouldnt be seeing the specialist that has been treating me for years, With no knowledge of my surgeries, This is the first time I have ever seen her, On Dec.30th I received 30 day supply of meds. On Jan28th 8 oclock PM, I will run out. Theres 31 days in Dec. The doctor or PA. at Allina, Jessica Kesinger, would not let me fill on the 28th, So on the 29th at 4 oclock AM. when I normally take my meds, I will have none, Who lets a patient run completely out of meds before they can refill them ? Im glad shes not prescribing the 6 different meds I take for my heart disease. I will now have to wait until the pharmacy opens on the 30th, Then hope they have it. Its almost like she wanted me to suffer. My wife and I will never set foot in that clinic

I was required to schedule a second appointment with the ENT before scheduling surgery. I originally met with the ENT at another Allina office 30 miles away. I was told the only availability for the follow up was at the Elk River location. It is not close to anything. I spoke extensively with the scheduling desk and the nurse about the appointment and was repeatedly told it was a 15 minute appointment. I scheduled it for the first available appointment at 8am and I arrived 10 minutes early. 45 minutes later we are walking out of the office. This is absolutely a support staff issue as the ENT took 45 minutes to complete the appointment. My time is valuable and this pushed back everything in my day. I will not be going back to this office and I strongly suggest that unless you live in Elk River and have no other choices, do not schedule here either.

Heads-up to all overweight Lymphedema patients. Do not waste your time going to any of the Allina facilities in the Entire Twin Cities area for Physical Theraphy MDL treatment. They have a weight restriction, they will not treat you, if your above it.....The upper Management at Allina wrote this policy.. Shame on them. I cannot get the Health Care I need because of their policy. I have received treatment in other states, and other Companies....it was never a problem...their Goal was to help me get Healthy. ALLINA DOESNT FOLLOW THEIR OWN VISION, OR MISSION STATEMENT WHEN IT COMES TO PATIENT CARE.

I already wrote a poor review of the appointment due to the scheduling issue, but now Im being charged for a $800 surgery I never had with a doctor Ive never met or heard of from this same office on this same day! It doesnt even list anything but "surgery". If I could make it a negative star review I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I really love Dr. Eric Simon, he listens to you and appears genuinely concerned about your welfare. Hes very understanding too. One of the best doctors I have come across in a very long while.
