I have suffered for 30 years with back pain and many a disc herniation, plus other spinal maladies. I have been through various types of PT over the years - I prefer working through pain to get stronger, rather than spinal injections or surgery. I injured my spine in January of this year and the sciatic pain was intense. My doctor recommended Physicians Neck and Back Center. I was seen by their in house doctor on my 1st visit and also assessed with 2 more doctor visits to measure my progress. He felt my condition warranted the Core Strengthening Program. The program itself is fantastic. This type of therapy works specific areas of your muscular and skeletal system - utilizing special core equipment, treadmill work and vital stretching. The entire staff is terrific and are extremely knowledgeable. After much dedication, the course was completed and I am a much stronger person physically. Not only is my core stronger, my legs have regained their muscle tone. I now belong to their CORE Program and plan to continue my workouts to keep my body strong! I am now able to walk through a large store without needing an electric cart and I can stand on one foot at a time for many seconds, hence gaining the balance I had lost. Thank you so much for everything. I AM A FINISHER!!!

Dont see Dr. Mary Figueroa. She dismissed our concerns and then proceeded to flaunt her inexperience in spine care by flagging my husband as needing clearance for cardio. Hes a healthy male in his 30s who participates in competitive sports 2x/wk and works out every day. No family history or other risk factors (she didnt even ask). Meanwhile his pain worsened and landed us in the ER where a full cardiovascular check was performed (all clear) and she still wouldnt ok him for PT. We had to wait over a week to see his primary MD for clearance. In this time he could not drive or return to work, or even sleep his pain was so intense. Both the residents and attending MD in the ER agreed it sounded like nerve or musculoskeletal issue. Whos the expert again? If I could give her zero stars I would. She put my family through hell this week.

Doctor refused to answer OWCP question defending her diagnosis showing causal relationship. Needed to submit within 30 days (~21 actual days) ...took at least 6 weeks to get her to call me back and simply stated it was an insurance issue, not her problem! Luckily my personal insurance covered most of my legitimate on the job back injury bills. Ill NEVER be recommending PNBC to anybody after the run around and avoidance that I received.

I carried twins and had terrible back problems. I spoke with the Dr. and I really liked what he had to say. After we spoke he sent in a Physical Therapist to evaluate me. No more than 5 minutes into it I notified her of my Diastasis Recti. She immediately stopped and went to get the Dr. Long story short they charged me for a full PT session among other things. This was a year ago and still no resolution.

I had a great experience at PNBC Maple Grove. I suffered from lower back pain and had tried physical therapy through another health system with no relief. PNBC Maple Grove quickly diagnosed my condition and prescribed a workout that provided immediate relief. I continue to be pain free 6 months later. Dr. Mary Figueroa and the PT team were great to work with as well.
