I have always thought that Mahaska Health Partnership was wonderful that the Drs. and staff were top notch. I have only had 2 experiences with the Walk In Clinic and had no complaints. I had to take my elderly mother there recently and it was a sudden decision and a 45 minute drive. I was rushed and asked her to check the magnet on her fridge for a phone number and the hours. You guessed, no phone number on the magnet. We arrived 18 minutes before 8 and were told that they were closed and the Dr. was gone. Why post 8pm if it it isnt honored. We were told last patient had to check in 15 minutes before, that was what we were trying to do. It didnt matter that we drove 45 minutes to get there, we were told we should have called and gotten on the schedule. I couldnt believe this as doesnt that defeat the purpose of a "Walk In Clinic".

The staff are a little rude for a medical clinic. I mean, its not retail or something :-/ They are getting paid decent money (I hope, maybe theyre not) to do their job. I once had a nurse (finally) return my call only to begin the conversation giving me another patients test results. I had to cut her off to tell her that I had not had a mammogram and that is definitely not why I was calling. That is a bit frightening, given the nature of the business. Also, one of the nurse practitioners started giving me some ridiculous information about how a cold pack helps arthritis??!! It was absurd. I just think this business doesnt put much effort into finding intelligent physicians and nurses. It is pretty sad and I wont return.

Unless your willing to wait for almost two hours when your the third patient in line to be seen in the walk-in clinics that has two preliminary nurses on duty, dont go here! The staff strolls by very leisurely as if our time is not important to them, and the overall quality and lack of speed when seeing patients is furstrating to say the least. Definitely a last resort from now on.

Too many mistakes lately!! Went for appointment in the clinic today that has been set up for a couple weeks. They took my daughter back, did the work up and everything. We were waiting on dr to come in and instead the nurse comes back in and says "im sorry but this doctor doesnt see peds patients". Are you kidding me??? Only 3 people there I would see and trust anymore

Does this Clinic have a active phone number???? Been trying to reach someone for 15 min and it doesnt even ring, goes straight to voicemail. usually a normal health clinic has receptionist to answer the phones right?? its 9am so someone should defiantly be there!

Not very good.sat here in e r.only took a u a thats it. And no one could say what is wrong with my daughter. Sat here fot 4 hrs and 45 min. Do the people here like there jobs and have a compassion for it. Or just here for the check?

They drop the ball on getting tests run then they cant contact you in a decent time frame with results of different tests ran at a different time
