This so called "animal hospital" only cares about money and not the true spirit of helping animals. We called late at night because our puppy was sick and it was the only place in the area open. Our puppy could not even lift its head, it was not eating, and looked close to dying. When our call was finally answered, the employee told us that the veterinarian would only make house calls for current clients: leaving our puppy to fend for its own. I cannot even begin to fathom how someone could have gone to school for so long with the sole purpose of learning to CARE for animals only to turn around and deny help to animals in need. It is very saddening that this type of business exists in our Siouxland community. I pray that this hospital changes for the well being of our community and pets. I urge everyone to speak up about this problem, or discontinue giving money to this type of place. 0/10 would NOT recommend.

To Diana Laso: Im a customer of Siouxland Animal Hospital. They have given me exceptional care and service. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Perhaps think of the vet and his/her family and children. Perhaps the vet has a life of their own. If they attend to every emergency, especially for people theyve never seen before, they would constantly live at that clinic. Your lack of respect for them as human beings is deplorable. Im glad you went elsewhere, I wouldnt want these wonderful professionals having to deal with someone as selfish as you sound. Having a pet is a responsibility, which includes unexpected emergencies and having to pay extra, when needed, for 24 hour emergency clinics. Ive had to do it, and I dont see why you think you should be able to steal these peoples valuable time.

My family has taken our pets here for many years and the service and advice has always been excellent. From needing emergency vet care after hours, to having to put animals to sleep, everyone is so helpful and kind. Our cat has had multiple medical concerns that have resulted in numerous vet visits including shots, medications, and major surgery. Because they have multiple vets, we are always able to get in right away and their rates are extremely reasonable.

Couldnt even get my beagle in for emergency. They could care less if your dog died. Those secataries. Are very mean people . Ill never go back. Their just worried about money. Want cash. If they wont take your check dont go.joke.very very expensive. The most greedy vet office I ever seen.only about money. .money hungry place.no good

Ive been going to SAH for over 20 years with my dogs. They take great care of my pets medical needs and truly care for them. They are a quality and affordable vet. Top-notch office staff with much patience! Highly recommend!

They refused to give me advice on my injured pup, said they only offer 24/hour emergency care to current clients. Had to drive about and hour and a half away to get my pup emergency care.
