We have been going here for a long time. We loved Dr. Wright and we are still happy with changes that have occured. Dr. Epstein and her staff are courtious and kind. We had to bring in our old family dog of 17 years to be put to sleep. My mother was having a hard time dealing with letting her go this way. So it was a relief that the staff immediately took note of the situation, with a busy office of constant phone ringing, people, and their pet traffic. We came early but they found us a room as soon as they could. Dr. Epstien gave us the run down on what to expect if we chose to stay. Both she and her assistant were careful and loving to our little girl as we stood by. We were glad to say that she did go peacefully and we got to stay with her till the very end. Though this was one of the hardest decisions my mother had to make she said she was glad to have done it there because Dr. Epstien and her staff were so kind and knew how to handle delicate situations like this. So from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

I adopted my puppy from a rescue organization so I had to take my dog to this place for her shots and to get her neutered. If it was not for this I would never take my pet here. The staff is incredible rude with the exception of the young man who seems to be the only one who seem nice and listens to concerns as I was not able to see the vet a songle time when I brought my puppy in. When asked eh front desk to purchase some flea medicine as I thought she may be getting some fleas from the dog part she went off on a lecture how I need to treat my back yard and then charged me 25 dollars for a single pill and told me I have to come back every month and can only buy one pill at a time. The front manager is so incredibly rude and condescending it was unbelievable. It is clear they are not interested in converting any of the rescue families into being the animals vet long term. With so many vets in the area I wonder how this rudeness keeps them in business.

Take my cat in to get treatment and surgery for a tumor she had. The vet only poked at the tumor, didnt say anything about taking a sample to test and see what kind of tumor she had. They just give me antibiotics, and we set an appointment. Bring her back for her surgery and she tells me that there were two things we could do, proceed with the surgery and have the chance of the wound opening back up, or give her more antibiotics and steroids to reduce the swelling before going on with surgery. She said those were our two options, so we decide to do the antibiotics. 3 days later, we take her to a different animal hospital to be told she had only days to live and had to put her down. The staff at animal hospital on teasly lane did not tell me she was dying. They gave me hope that she would be okay, and sold me 3 different drugs to basically traumatize our cat before having to put her down.

The vet and techs are nice and my dogs seem to really like them. However, the front staff can be lacking depending on who you get. I just made an appt and instead of saying goodbye or thank you after i thanked her she said "uh huh" & promptly hung up. My dog is going in for her 3rd appt for the same thing. Everytime i take her in the vet gives me only 1 thing it could be. Thats not good bc she hasnt been right yet & i have to pay for another visit everytime. (Seems to me this is how they make money.) Plus, you can not call & speak to the vet. I tried repeatedly and there was always some excuse as to why she wasnt there or couldnt call me back. This place is shady & will cost you but its hard to find a vet both of my dogs feel comfortable with....so, maybe its worth it for some people.

Im so thankful and lucky for this place and DR Holt. After over 800.00 at banfield, almost everything in my savings, surrendering her to the animal shelter as a last resort for care, and 2-3 months of no explanation as to why my cat was sick and banfield only taking me for everything I had, within hours they found the issue! My poor little baby has been extremely constipated although she has been going regularly, due to issues that are common with her breed. A few hours after she got home and the anesthesia wore off shes been back to her happy little playfull self, now the only bites I get are love bites. I will always take my animals here! You guys are amazing!!!!

Our dog went in for heart worm treatment and to get her stitches out. When we picked her up, they didnt tell us how to properly take care of her (in regards to her meds for heartworms), instead they just told us to read the medication bottles. This seems very rude and unprofessional. Ive never had a pet with heartworms, and it would have been nice if they would have taken time to explain to us what was going on and how to continue her care. Also, even though they had her for a day and a half, they did not remove her stitches! We told them at least twice they needed to come out. I was very disappointed since the last experience I had here was a good one.

After Dr. Wright retired and sold his practice to Dr.Epstein things have not been the same. I have had puppies misdiagnosed. One of them even died due to the misdiagnosis. When going in for a check up if you dont ask the vet questions she will not volunteer information. She does not completely check the pet out unless you ask her to. But they will certainly charge you for a "vet visit" even if the vet only greeted you and physically glanced at your pet. Staff can be rude at times which is totally unprofessional. Im very dissatisfied with the service I have received. I will not be using this vet again.

We adopted a dog from the Denton Animal Shelter and all the required vet work was done here. The experience couldnt have been any better. The staff were all polite, friendly and answered all my questions....many of them, both in person and over the phone. They kept my new pup a night longer because I wasnt quite ready to bring him home to introduce to my old dog. Ashley, who answers the phone deserves a raise. This woman is awesome! Thank you, Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane for making this adoption a pain-free experience. I would love to use you full time, but you are a bit of a drive.

We have been taking our animals to Dr Wright for 10 years. In that time he has always been very straight forward with advice - but in a kind manner. When we faced that terrible decision when one of our fur children was beyond help they could not have been more thoughtful and caring. I recommend Dr Wright to anyone and will continue to entrust my fuzzy kids to him and his staff. So in short - if you are looking for a no fuss, straight shooting - great with animals vet - Dr Wright is your man. Not to mention his volunteer efforts with stray animals.
