I have to give my honest opinion here. It took 45 minutes on the phone to even make an appointment. Should have known from that first inital "first impression" that the rest would not be good. This was, by far, the worst dental establishment I have ever visited. First off, I sat down and waited 10 minutes for the hygienist to prepare the X-ray machine. Then I was asked to get up and go stand in the hallway because someone else needed to get X-rays (YOUR KIDDING ME RIGHT). I really said this!! So I get up and stand in the hallway while the other person gets her X-rays. Then I sit back down and get mine. While Im in the process and the hygienist walks away the machine swivels and points to the wall. She came back and said did the machine move? DUH yes it did. Then she cleans my teeth (by far the worst cleaning I have EVER had)! It did not take her 2 minutes then she flossed my teeth, or should I say tried to floss, everytime she put the floss in between my teeth it would get caught and she could not get it out. Maybe she should have tried a different type of floss??? Lets be honest not all floss fits everyones teeth (needless to say because of this my gums are very swollen and sore tonight). I was there over an hour and 2 minutes were spent cleaning my teeth and the Dr. took about the same to look over them. STEER CLEAR of this place!!

Sigh. How do I write this and keep it civil? I didnt care for the way the staff treated me. I get there feeling that they get a lot of people without dental insurance. Which can be fine. But sometimes the attitude of the staff turns sour to all customers. It reminds me of the attitude that staff had to me 20 years ago when I didnt have insurance. The checks and double checked that happened to make sure they were paid was disappointing. Finally the work that was done. It was an emergency which is why I saw then. However after finding a better dentist the list of things the new dentist pointed made me sad but didnt disappoint me. I suggest starting away until they get new staff.

Well to put it bluntly, every tooth they have worked on whether a filing, or a four time crown attempt every crown has fallen off within the first year and now my filling has even fallen out. I went in with having not really any problems but since I have found a real dentist who is repairing everything A1 has done from leaving space next to a crown which cause infection to have to have the tooth pulled and overall poor workmanship and one day they want a Co-pay the next day they dont. Lets just say this is unlike any dental experience of my life and I am 50. I would never recommend this place or the dentists or staff for anything. Epic Failure!

Worst dental place ever. I have been coming here for over a year and because i have 2 special needs children, and my youngest one being blind and gets sick if you breath on him wrong (not joking) i have often called before my appointment a few hours and never got charged any extra fees. Now within the last couple weeks if i cancel my appointment the morning of my appointment they try to charge me 50.00. I dont think so. And lets not mention the RUDE part. The staff members and office manager are rude. They dont care if something comes up. Apparently they have easy not busy lifes. Save your self the headache. DO NOT GO HERE EVER.

I have never had a worse dental experience. My appointment was 45 minutes later than it was supposed to be. I did not have a hygienist clean my teeth. Im assuming the dentist, who never introduce yourself, cleaned my teeth for a total of one minute very roughly and slapped fluoride on with her finger. I was told to come back for cavity filling. I have never had cavities before. My teeth are not sensitive and she almost made me cry. I will never be going back.

I had been taking my 3 kids to this place for all their dental needs for 2 years. Then this last appt the dentist tells me my 12 year old needs a root canal & refers us to Iowa city. So I took her remind you a 3 hour drive for us. And guess what she did not need a root canal her tooth was just fine. So I call them & tell them this & the lady on the phone says well you are the one that choose to bring them here. Wow unbelievable!!!!

Horrible- be aware! Dentist is uneducated and several other dentist agreed. All the staff was very rude and making jokes about patients. The dentist was trying to give personal advice and pressuring into expensive pointless procedures, which other dentist disagreed. I have never seen try to argue and get in a patients face about pulling a tooth on another dentist recommendations because she wanted to do a root canal. Im in shock!

Worst experience of my life. Doctor was very rude and doubted me when i said i was in pain still, i was literally crying. She tried making me have a root canal when i knew there was no saving the tooth. She made me feel like a nuisance and that i was just another person to get paid for. 2 days later ended up in ER for infection bc she didnt do her job right. If my unborn baby goes into stress i will be suing Will never return

Never again will I go back there! Was only there one time and the dentist was very rough on cleaning my teeth. She didnt take the time to polish my teeth correctly. Just dragged the polisher across my teeth. The dentist didnt have any care that she was hurting me while doing it. Do not recommend this place at all!!

I was always afraid to go to dentist. I came here for my first visit. The staff and Dr. William Lay are very professional and friendly. They worked on my teeth very gently. Good thing is they are taking most insurance including Medicaid which other are not taking.I will definitely come back here again!

Honestly, best experience of my life. I chipped my tooth and live extremely close. Alisha, thee assistant, was extremely proficient on getting my information. Very clean office with toys for kids! Ill be back! Scheduling an appointment for all 3 kids tomorrow. Dentist was a Doll. Thank you all

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. I had a broken back tooth they did NOTHING FOR EXCEPT GIVE ME IBUPROFEN and now have to wait ANOTHER MONTH IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN before I can get the problem fixed. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. They will do NOTHING BUT LEAVE YOU WITH N PAIN AND WASTE YOUR TIME.

Best dentist Ive ever had. The staff is awesome and always friendly. They get me in immediately when i have an issue, and you can tell they care. Dr. Lay is a great dentist, I really cant say enough good things about him and his staff. Blessed to have them!
