I wasnt pleased with them on the initial visit back in the spring of 2017, but because they made an attempt to amend the error/grievance, I didnt write a negative review. However, 6 months later, they have sent me a reminder that I need heart worm medicine for my dog. As I dont care to give them any more of my money, I went online to order the medicine. I got an email back today that said they could not fill my prescription because my vet wouldnt allow--that I needed to bring my dog in and have him tested for heart worms. Please note, his coverage hasnt lapsed at this point, though it will now that they didnt allow me to get the medicine elsewhere. Who takes their dog in every 6 months for a heart worm test!??!?!?! Would give 0 stars if possible. Lost a customer and gained yourself a whole lot of negative word of mouth. I will tell everyone I know and meet who has an animal to steer clear of Banfield Pet Hospital.

I have been paying banfield insurance for a year and the first time i took my pet she recieved care but when i took her the 2nd time for routine care they refused to provide any care because shes not a designer pocket breed. My Rottweiler is like a child to me and if i have being paying her insurance she shouldnt be turned away because they are quick to draft your account. Also if your a vet or vet tech and your scared of specific breeds then you should find another job the vet tech was so scared she tried to laso my dog from a distance and the vet didnt even bother coming in she was quick to ask for me to pay another 125 on top of the 80 drafted monthly from my account for their wellness plan to put her to sleep. I do not recommend this clinic on rock rd they are garbage people do have real dogs not just fluffy toy breeds.

We took our second rescue dog to Banfield for his "free" exam after we brought him home from the Humane Society. At the end of the visit, when we checked out, we were charged for the visit. When I asked why, they said a free exam was only for the first pet.I spoke to the manager of the Humane Society. She said The free exam was for any and every pet that is rejoined. She was going to call Banfield to clarify that. I have never gotten a refund or an apology.Needless to say, we have found another vet!

I love this hospital! I would never take my pets anywhere else. The staff is very knowledgeable and so caring. My animals mean the world to me and there is no one else I would want taking care of them. Thank you to the East Banfield Hospital for always taking such good care of my pets.

Overpriced!!! My husky had a puncture on her paw, I took her in to check. They said it is going to cost $700+ just to do a X-ray and find out whats wrong with her. End up went to anther vet got her fixed for $350 including surgery.
